Stage Builder is cool. Probably gonna need to buy a stylus for my Switch if I really wanna do anything cool with it, though.

Only reason I don't like the idea of Steve is because I find him so aesthetically unpleasant. Minecraft is fine, Mojang is fine, Steve's fans are fine, but he's just not a nice character to look at. Even if they completely cleaned him up and everything I feel like his blocks appearance would still hold up and I just don't really want that.

Master Chief, Jago, Fulgore, Rash, Conker, Joanna Dark, JetPac Guy, Marcus Fenix, I'll take 'em. Just... Steve isn't the best thing to look at. If he did get in I'd be fine with it but PREFERABLY for me, I would rather him not.

Just personal preference though. I'm sure he'd be a great character in the long run.
Steve is my highest pick for a Microsoft representative though, because his game is so diverse and creative.
You can do anything in terms of moveset with Steve. Meanwhile Banjo is the opposite.

Only thing that bums me out about Stage Builder is the lack of material customization. I wish I could change the color of yarn, carpet, ruber, and paper blocks, but I don't think you can, unfortunately.

I actually looked at this website a week ago when you posted about your shirt cause I was wondering if there was any shirts I may be interested in since I don't actually have any interesting shirts at all.

Has there ever been a Mother, SMRPG or JoJo's Bizarre Adventure themed Shirt? Cause I would like to get a Shirt of one of those.

Mm, no need to bring Banjo into this but if we are; Banjo has just as much move set potential as Steve. If not more.

I don't dislike Steve, I just think he's an ugly character to look at. If he were in then fine, I'm all for it, but his aesthetic only fits within his specific world. And that's fine. I just don't like how he looks. Just a personal preference.

If you don't mind, could you @ me of you see any cool Persona shirts? Joker's release has got me playing all the games and thirsting over all the cute characters all over again. It's basically reinvigorated my interest in the series!

I've seen shirts based on all of those on sale at one point or another (I have a few JoJo shirts from this store), but none are on sale at the moment.

The shirts on sale in this store change daily, so if I ever see a shirt like that, I'll give ya a ring.

Regarding the violence topic, I think some people underestimate how things can be adjusted or toned down while still being faithful to the original source. Yeah MK is known for its extreme violence but it can still be modified so that it isn't full of gore but still represents the way those characters play. Like Scorpion's chain shouldn't be a problem since we already have Ridley using his tail to stab other characters.
Not to mention that as time has passed by, more things have been allowed as long as they don't go overboard with it and are in line with what Nintendo or the age rating says.
Like for example, in an interview with Sakurai he mentions how they can't "include any dismemberment in Smash". So actions like decapitating Dracula or cutting Rathalos' tail are omitted. Things like that aren't allowed but that doesn't mean other type of violence isn't.

Unfortunately, I can't represent SMT as a franchise without looking like a Satanic Cultist so...

How come everyone I know has played a Persona game, but I never had?
I am envious of all of you.

Steve's potential might be more open-ended, but Banjo has quite a bounty on which to draw from. More so than a lot of candidates. They're not exactly counterpoints.

Wait, more?

Have you played Minecraft before?
Who hasn't? It's not really my shtick but I can see the appeal. Nevertheless, while Steve has a lot of tools at his disposal, Banjo has had two games that have fleshed out his move set to a near perfect match of what a Smash character should do.

If you looked at the gargantuan move list of both Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, you'd see what I mean.

Wow.

I'm disappointed in you guys.

I, the innocent wholesome user, literally confessed to thirsting over video game characters and nobody made a post comprised of a single reaction image that garnered likes in the double digits.

You guys are slacking smh

Buddy, There's tons of **** Banjo can do.

Not saying Steve can do more or less or whatever the ****, but Banjo's got moveset potential out the wazoo. Don't deny it.

If you do i'll bite you.
Banjo does have move-set potential, but Steve has far more.

Like, Steve can do almost anything.
Potions, TNT, Command Blocks, Weapons, Tools, Mobs, Redstone Machines, Flint and Steel, you name it.
Play Creative mode. Learn commands.
Then you will know what I am talking about.

Moveset potential is a funny topic, while there are a few characters that are pretty much stuck as a support at best, I don't think that there are that many characters requested that would have any problem with getting a moveset (even less so Steve and Banjo). That said, I would like to comment on MC popularity and being subestimated around the Smash fanbase in general but also want to see some things develop regarding the content created in Smash before saying anything.
