If I recall correctly the Jane junk data started with "Jack" and then later in the string referred to "Jane" and "Pony" so the scrapped attire idea seems pretty plausible. It likely doesn't mean a lot, just some leftover testing data that made its way into the junk.

Has there been a proper datamine yet? If so, any cool new info outside of the Jane files seemingly scrubbed?

  1. All of the games take place in the same world, which means the world was in peril about five times so far in this series. Persona 2 has Persona 1 characters, Persona 3 has cameos that mention the descriptions of Persona 1 and 2 characters, Persona 4 has a school field trip to Persona 3's town, and Persona 5 has a Rise poster you can put in your room
  2. Nothing really. You'd probably just get a couple of funny lines.
So then how come the Metaverse works completely differently in every game?

Because none of the other groups are going through the Metaverse.

The Persona 3 crew is going through a tower called Tartarus, and the Persona 4 Investigation Team works in the TV World.

New bet: Joker phantom stole his grappling hook from Rex by diving into his palace

Well, I guess it’s not much of a bet considering it’s stone cold fact

Oh. I thought it was just some sort of catch-all term.

Strange that you can summon Personas in all of them. I wonder if they’re connected.

The thing is that the Metaverse is only in Persona 5. I know Mementos in Smash Bros has Persona 3 and 4 versions, but that's just pure fanservice.

In Persona 1, demons just start randomly invading the real world and another dimension.
In Persona 2, rumors around town start affecting the reality of the world, like Hitler and the Waffen SS suddenly invading Japan.
Persona 3, there's now another hour between midnight and 1 AM that spawns this huge ass tower from your school.
In Persona 4, you go inside TVs.

Continuity really does not exist beyond the cameos except in the Arena games, strangely enough.

Didn't the Jane file contained a different extension? It could very well be a remainder of the character Joker is based from or his last 2 alts were probably different.

Make sure it's ****ing ridiculous, yet somehow you keep coming back to it.
So make it stupid, but also a viable enough stage that people actually want to use it. For some reason.

Persona 6: Infinity War! Everyone is here and all the stories are suddenly connected!
That's just Arena and Ultimax and possibly Persona Q2?? I haven't played that one yet but considering it even has the Persona 3 Portable female protagonist and the aesthetics are based on Persona 2 it might as well be.

Yep, all of them are connected to one place where all Personas, Shadows, gods and demons (and therefore humans) originate; the Sea of Souls.

Actually, in Persona lore, reality and collective psyche aren't even fully separated, former turns into latter slowly as you go "deeper".

I'm auditioning for a demon in a webcomic dub, and I think this audition line sums up Smashboards pretty well.
