So MUA 3 just casually confirmed more characters. Deadpool, Kid Arachnid, Nightcrawler and Ghost Spider among them. Venom's super confirmed as playable and not just a boss, I wonder if this applies to Green Goblin too, since like Venom he was playable after you beat him in MUA 2.

I don't know if that's the whole roster though. Let alone any DLC.

How good are they? Do they take money matches? I know trying to steal the soul of an entire corporation is a bit ambitious, especially since it doesn't have one, but I want to try and get as close to that as possible anyway.

The way I see it, first impressions are a big part in how the generation usually pans out. If Sony ****s up their first year then I can see them being evicted from their throne. Dropping E3, same exclusives that they've shown for the past four years, dumb censorship controversies, these are gonna play a factor in how people are going to look at the PS5. If Sony assumes everyone is going to buy the PS5 out of brand loyalty then they're in for a shock, the only reason I went to the PS4 this generation is because Microsoft did a really dumb launch with the online only ****, if Microsoft pulls their pants up then I can see them getting back to the stage again.


Same feeling, every character being here still feels like a fever dream.

Problem is that a bad start of a generation doesn't mean it will end up the same. The PS3 had a pretty rocky start but by the end of its lifetime it managed to surpass the Xbox 360, Xbone had a rough start due to policies that don't even compare to anything Sony has done. Always online was not the only thing MS pulled, they also added mandatory Kinect and removing second-hand support at the beginning which makes the stupid **** Sony is doing a slap in the wrist. Especially since big events like E3 are diminishing in importance given a few companies are going the Nintendo route this year of a stream instead of a conference and we still lack any info regarding the PS5 launch titles. (I agree that the censorship is just kinda lame)

Lulu is one of the weirdest members of the cast, she feels so tacked on and out of place. Oh well, you should wait to see FF X-2 if you end up playing it. You're going to have a field day with it.

I don’t think it is the whole roster.

The boxart lacks some already confirmed characters like Gamora or the Inhumans.

This isn’t the first time it happens in the series doh:

The past UA games didn’t include everyone in the boxart either.
Someone on Gamexplain’s video covering these news mentioned that the Fantastic Four for example couldn’t be in since they are not in the boxart. However, they were present in the second game, where they actually aren’t present on the boxart too.

I suppose that we will see more characters at E3 and some more will be hidden as secret unlockables at launch. I see DLC possible too.

I started with MUA 1 and then played XML2 after. Both a really cool games.

I'm thinking my team will be Spider-Man, Storm, Venom and Scarlet Witch.

Might use Miles if I can't use Venom right away and then drop him for Venom....obviously. Unless we also get Psylocke or Rouge, might drop Scarlet Witch for one of those 2.

But seeing the covers, I wish the new cover kept the Geometric panels with Spider-Man in the middle. Would've been nice to see the aesthetic of the covers evolve even more.

Hope the FF join since I know you're a fan. And it makes too much sense for them to be in it given it's a four man team game.
