Okay so y'know how you just find baby Yoshis chilling everywhere.

You never see the parents, the babies are just hanging out wherever.

Well what if Yoshis don't have parents, only parent?

That's understandable. I think the reason I'm not minding it too much is because it's been ages since I've played the original, so the change doesn't bug me as much. I should make it clear I didn't dislike BiS' tighter timing; I think if I were to play the original now, I'd like it as much as BiSDX now that I'm thinking about it more. Possibly more? I'd have to play it again, TBH.

That said, I'm in the "Both are good" camp. If someone already owns BiS, I'd probably tell them to skip BiSDX. However, if someone didn't already own it, I'd recommend this remake: The QoL features, fantastically updated OST, and beautiful visuals (for a 3DS title, at least), do make me like it just a hair more than the original. I do wish the overall speed of the game was closer to SSDX and DT, though. Those games felt perfect.

DaybreakHorizon DaybreakHorizon Actually, I do think I agree with you now that I'm thinking about it more.

I like this remake, but from the second I started playing it, it did feel noticeably slower from any other M&L game. Anyhoo, thanks for the response: I just had BiSDX on the brain since I'm playing through it in hopes of maybe finishing it tonight. Right now I'm trying to decide if I want to do the Giant Bowser gauntlet and the final Bros. Attack mini games, or just go fight the final boss and call it good.

Those were some of the best K. Rool moments I've had in this game.
