I do agree with what you say, but I still think those two are better as partner/best friends than as a couple, and it still came a bit suddenly considering how their relation was up to that point imo. That being said points for the writting team for giving clue that Rex wasn't just a anime ****boy on the moment and actually had doubt about Nia love request.

I was tougher than most children, due to my ADHD. I was very hyper (and still am, actually).

I was raised in a really good family, for one thing, and therapy helped a bit, too.

I was a startlingly easy child. I was an only child for the first five years of my life, which may have had something to do with it, but apparently I was weirdly well-behaved and I was talking and solving puzzles really young.

Then when I hit middle school that crumbled and I was a total piece of **** to everyone and everything.
