Oh yeah, a Bethesda rep is pretty slept on. They've actually already talked to Nintendo about Smash Bros. Bethesda has supported Nintendo since the reveal of the Switch with ports of huge games like DOOM and Skyrim, so they're no outsider. Bethesda reps have the fan support, commercial success, industry influence, and loads of unique potential necessary for a DLC fighter. I don't see anything wrong with them other than Bethesda being a Western developer.

Over the past 20 years, there has always been the flaming cross that stood the test of time. A competition of countless icons duking it out. Overtime, there had began the beginnings of a revolution. That, of which, was called the "SmashBoards".

Time and time again, whenever the cycle would start up, it would end the same way. People come, people go. This time... It's different. People of the "thread" has been torn apart. Loved ones left, and comrades at each others' throats. Insiders, theories, beloved icons wanted, only to become costumes...

Now, it's come to this. When one man made a deal with the devil and bet his whole life and soul... Everything changed.

WHERE PERCEPTION IS NOTHING, AND REALITY IS ALL A BRUH MOMENT...

There's enough to make it distinct, but there's also Bullet Bills, Boos, Chain Chomps, Piranha Plants and I think Lakitus too. Not to mention Shy Guys, but those are more associated with Yoshi due to them showing up a hell of a lot more in Yoshi games than in Mario.

On shy guys, they do appear in Mario spin-offs, but the've never been in mainline Mario game, unless you count Super Mario Bros 2, I guess.

All I'm going to say on the matter of Yoshi and Mario is as follows.

The two series are linked, to be sure. Mario at least is a constant presence, though he is a baby and passive in the story. Baby Bowser is essentially Bowser Jr. Kamek technically appears in the New Super Mario Bros series (at least I think it's that same character). Koopas are enemies in both series. But it really stops there. Yoshi has a unique identity from Mario games. Mechanically and visually, they're not that similar. All the enemies in Yoshi games, barring the Koopas, are unique to the Yoshi series.

TLDR, the two series are linked by canon, but they have distinct identities.

Also, the two most recent Yoshi games, Wooly World and Crafted World, are pretty blatantly Yoshi games. Only an ignorant onlooker would ever confuse them for a Mario title.

Baby Bowser May act like Bowser Jr. But he’s NOT Bowser Jr. I don’t know why but I find myself having to clarify that more than I should.

My only question is why Luigi and the Luigi’s Mansion content doesn’t have its own series symbol?

All his games feature new environments whether it be in regards to aesthetic or just plain new environments. Rarely any of them even get into the sports or kart games (which the Donkey Kong Country games do I might add)

Not all of his games are prequels (Topsy-Turvy) and Woolly World and Crafted World may not even take place in the same universe...

Yoshi has plenty of original elements and enemies, but everyone focuses on the similar stuff and it's incredibly unfair...

I hate this double standard.

Because there's more similar stuff in Yoshi compared to DKC.

You could probably count all the shared Mario elements in DKC on one hand but there's an extensive list for the Yoshi series. Even the non-prequel games will take enemies straight out of the main Mario series.

Focusing attention on the original aspects doesn't divert much attention away from the majority of content that's shared.

The reviews for Hellboy are, uh, bad. That's a real disappointment man. There'll probably not be another one for a LONG time now. 3 box office stinkers doesn't really shout profitability.

Maybe it'll do well enough to warrant a sequel that could be better but I kind of doubt it. What a shame.

So I type this not as a slight on the Yoshi series because I think the SNES and Woolly World were good times.

From where I'm standing, I never found a single Mario set piece in series like Wario Ware or DKC. If they were there, they were meant as funny cameos or references rather than game elements from the Mario world being a part of their world. Wario and DK are barely integrated into Mario mainline games compared to Yoshi. It's at a point where Mario Kart 7 having a DKC Returns stage is actually shocking.

Meanwhile, Yoshi and Mario overlap heavily. Yoshi appears in the mainline platformers, dedicated Yoshi islands appear in RPGs, the whole baby character concept originated from Yoshi's Island, and occasionally he'll also appear in a mainline 3D title like Galaxy 2. I don't think it's a bad thing, but when Yoshi Island still has shy guys, boos, koopas, kamek, and literally Bowser, it's easy to see why Yoshi's Island is more attached to the Mario universe than DKC or WarioWare. Yoshi's Island still takes from the SNES game it originated from, which was inherently a Mario spinoff at the time. They have original content for sure, but I still feel like I'm playing something that came from the Mario series rather than Yoshi's own thing

Doom Slayer would make sense since he's the Ryu of FPS games. Scorpion would be sick, but I do prefer Sub-Zero myself.

I hope that new Spawn movie works out, but I feel like Jamie Foxx is a weird choice for Al Simmons, especially after Micheal Jai White, who's more fit for Superhero roles given his marital arts history.

I do think doomslayer could happen. It be weird but they could pull it off. He’s a solid chance for E3.

Looking back previous ones had sonic(I think), mega man, pac man, ryu, snake( I believe anyway. He’s in brawls first trailer) and I think that’s all of them. All pretty big names. So doom slayer or another big capcom character for E3 seem plausible.

There is only one mandatory Weapon fight that is connected to the main story, but the rest like Emerald Weapon are optional.
