I can't believe I lost half of my ****ing team to this guy. Especially Swoosh. I was holding out for him to make it to the end. Hail is really a *****, huh?
- We fought Red. The end.
- I'm kidding of course. The battle was tough in case you can't see. I lost half of my team.
- We start with TurtleLion vs. his Pikachu
- His Pikachu has Grass Knot
- Grass Knot is a 2HKO on us
- But he can't crit
- Sucjer
- I'll just Item spam him to death
- Remember kids: Playing lame, wins games.
- He also has Endeavor
- That's cute
- He Endeavors us to 6 HP
- TurtleLion falls to hail damage
- We send out Robin to finish the job
- He's got one more Endeavor
- Jirachi has Magic Guard though so **** you and your weather damage.
- Out comes Charizard
- I'll use this opportunity to get some Calm Minds on Bianca since she's specially bulky
- Critical Hits don't give a **** about boosting
- Flacon finishes his Charizard off with Strength
- Out comes Blastoise
- Sputnik handles it pretty well.
- Out comes Venusaur
- It's got Earthquake
- No thanks fam.
- Swoosh comes out to take it down
- Snorlax
- Again, Sputnik handles it well
- Espeon
- His last Pokémon
- Gives us trouble with dual screens and lucky Sp. Def. drops from Psychic and Shadow Ball
- Neither Swoosh nor Flacon is bulky enough to take a hit
- Maybe if I switch in Swoosh, boost with Dragon Dance, and use Fly?
- He gets a high roll Psychic
- Swoosh gets hailed out of the sky
- Sputnik finishes it for the victory.
This concludes the Sacred Gold leg of my run. Up next is Renegade Platinum, which should be interesting. Wish me luck. I'll really need it.
For Platinum, should I go until after the Heatran Story Event, or call it quits at Cynthia?
I'll go with whatever you guys prefer.
