Imagine the trailer for Goku. Camera turns on, we see the iconic orange gi, people are going insane. It starts slowly panning up to his face, and when it gets there, you notice a scar on his cheek.

Fairly weak argument. I could say the same thing about Ryu or Little Mac. Not to mention people who like Smash may not like traditional fighters.

I would be interested in seeing how they handle Goku in Smash thank you very much. Albeit he is not a priority for me.

idon imma be real a lot of those do not look direct, copy, shot for shot, ripped at all. some of them having repeat shots at different angles makes it look even more generic

there are obviously some references, but there are some that are clearly not as direct as they make it seem

Sorry to Noipoi Noipoi , you and Thanos Car are out already. So are Burns and Chill Penguin, and Chill Penguin and Zinith Zinith . Three of the greatest teams are gone, what a shame.

Ah yes, this sweeping kick that isn't animated exactly as it shows is clearly referencing Chapter 256, Page 14, Panel 2.

Or it's just a kick. Other DB games have their references too, but you can obviously reference materials in more ways in other types of mediums. Saying DBFZ is enough to suffice like being true-to-character is the only worthwhile notion of being in Smash isn't very strong.

I could have watched Godzilla if I wanted to, but a movie where a giant being just destroys stuff is kind of boring to me. :/

Usually there's other monsters to fight.
The "boring" parts come from moments where it's not about the monsters.

I've got a question for you all in regards to my Generationlocke:

Would you like to see me add Pokémon Insurgence into my Generationlocke?

Pokémon Insurgence is a fan hack that's an entire new region and story to play through. It'd alter my order a little bit to accommodate for it, with the new order being:

Firered Omega -> Sacred Gold (We are here) -> Renegade Platinum -> Blaze Black 2 -> Rising Ruby -> Neo Y -> Insurgence -> Umbra Moon -> Sword (if possible)

Seems like it could be pretty fun. Let me know what you guys think!
