As far as this goes, and what made me ask in the first place, I was reminded earlier about the Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver series. I had fun with those when I was younger.

Honestly... Banjo feels like perfect leakbait.

Anybody who's glanced at a fan poll knows that the internet echo chamber would gravitate towards him.

Banjo acting as smokesreen for Steve/the Chief to get the internet off their trail would make sense.

Wario Land. The games ended so abruptly on such a fun game, and they've been around for a while. I think the series is ripe for a new entry.

Something that appeals to me in a potential newcomer is if I feel like they naturally fit the mold of Smash. Banjo is definitely one alongside Ryu Hayabusa, Rayman, Shantae and several others though these are the ones off the top of my head.

Anyone feel this way with any of your wanted characters?

I haven't even played Xenoblade X or any Xenoblade game in my life, but with dual guns and swords and a huge giant mech, I feel she could most certainly bring something special to Smash
