Honestly it's a decently believable "leak," though obviously I'm not convinced yet. Is there no section on the updates or did you not have the photos? Because if they didn't write anything for the update section, that feels like a red flag, lol.

Being fictitious would make it more like the game itself, which was a nice touch of detail for this 'leak'.
The guns in 'real life' are just realistic Models, but when taking into a Palace (a cognitive world within the mind of an antagonist), the Shadows in there perceive it to be a 'real' gun. Because their cognition sees it as a real gun (due to how realistic they look), they think that, when fired, its firing real bullets when in actuality, they're just fictitious.

I started this original discussion off by saying I haven't been here in awhile and thread moves super fast. I asked if anybody remembered seeing this leak; was asked to post it; so it's possible you guys have already seen this and have discussed it and I didn't know.

We only know Joker because the next one after him is Cuphead, and Studio HMDR wants to make the Cuphead stage work like their game while also turning every fighter into a Cuphead version of them.

Basically they are going slow because of the animation work.

I had just assumed that the because the model was realistic the trigger could be 'pulled', but fired nothing. Within the cognitive world, however, because the Shadows think its real, when Joker pulled the trigger, they expected shots to then be fired and thus, bullets were fired.

To be honest, I didn't catch that. The idea that a leaker would actually include the detail of the bullets being 'fictitious' surprised me and made me pay attention to the leak while ignoring some other flaws (although, there are other things in there that do make me question things). One thing to note, though, is that what language this was being transcribed for was never mentioned. This could have been another language transcribing from Japanese, then translating their own words to English, if it wasn't their first language, to 'Leak' it.
