Something controversial or a fetish?
Nah, I don’t have any of those. But I have great reaction pics saved for the moment something like that happens.

Nintendo has always been a bit of a port-happy company lol. The original Final Fantasy has been ported more times than Skyrim at this point:
FF 1 (NES)
FF Origins (was FF 1 & 2 for PS1)
FF I & II: Dawn of Souls (GBA)
Final Fantasy (iOS, Android, and Windows Phone all have versions)
Final Fantasy (Wii virtual Console)
Final Fantasy (PSP)
Final Fantasy (PS3 digital version as a 'PS1 Classic')
Final Fantasy (3DS Virtual console)
Final Fantasy (Wii U virtual Console)
Final Fantasy (NES Classic Console)
Tbf, Final Fantasy has been around for over 30 years.

Skyrim has only been around for about 8 years.

Since Netherealm and even Nintendo aren't allowing footage of Mortal Kombat 11's Switch version, NateDrake is here to save the day.

This one was just a text leak for (supposedly) what the translation team had to dub over for the next Direct from Sakurai.

Just to bullet point it, it was for an April 3rd Direct (again, allegedly) that discussed the following:

-Talking about Version 3.0.0 update & release (revealed to be April 12th)
-Stage builder returning (new backgrounds available, new styles, etc)
-Home Run contest returning (with ability to use items other than the Baseball bat)
-Ability to use/set up Spirit Teams for use in Home Run Contest
-New Spirits to be added (based on games that released more recently like Yoshi's Crafted World, Bowser's Inside Story re-release game, etc)
-Changes/Tweaks to different fighters to improve their flow of moves
-Joker gameplay reveal (shows his Persona involves a 'charge' meter so he fights simultaneous to you)*
-Mementos Stage reveal & it being atop Morgana (Bus form)
-Persona spirits to be added along with 17 tracks
-No Teaser for next DLC character

*This part was what tore me the most. While the description of his moves seemed accurate, such as describing his recovery as poor but being able to 'bounce of opponents heads easily (sounding exactly like FalconDorf's up Special) and his Neutral & Side Specials seeming legit, how Joker supposedly makes use of Arsene is what gave me pause. While trying to turn it into a gimmick sounds like something Sakurai would do to make Joker 'unique' (since you build a charge meter at the bottom so that Arsene can fight along with Joker simultaneously), it doesn't sound like how the game works with Personas. Granted, 'Limit Break' doesn't work that way with Cloud in FF, but this just seemed like a needless meter, so that's what made me doubt this.

Everything else, though; from the wording used in Sakurai's supposed speech to this, down to other subtle details (reveal of different features coming, why they weren't in the base game, and the lack of a DLC reveal) feel like something Nintendo would do.
I think the charge meter is like a Stand from the Jojo games, the idea here is to have Joker fight alongside his Persona like Luma but more rewarding, as a result, Joker gets somewhat limited by it. Then again no Erdrick and no Jane makes me highly doubt it lmao

Ignoring the reactions they would get... I guess. It's one of those thing I wouldn't want to spend money on but would buy anyways because maybe they're fun.
Imagine it now. The last Smash Ultimate character, ever. Snake and Mega Man are fighting on Battlefield, and Snake launches him off the stage. Snake reports to Otacon, But is told to watch out, because a new challenger is approaching. Snake looks into the distance and sees something floating in the sky - Skrillex music starts blasting as he sees the Battle Bus, with Jonesy jumping out of the back. The camera zooms in as he falls out.

JONESY DROPS IN!

I like how ass is censored out but anus is a viable word for Smashboards.
