Ehhhh I dunno. Microsoft were killing it last year and have some pretty exciting things around the corner.

Nintendo needs to step it up from last year, as last year was pretty much nothing but a Smash Direct.

Pretty sure that was the plan all along. They felt Pokemon and Smash could carry the Switch through Christmas on their own-- and they were right. Thus this year will seem huge by comparison because they didn't have to announce anything else prematurely.

One of the major problems with companies putting so much investment into their E3 press conferences is the fact that we see so many trailers for games that simply aren't ready yet. Then they get cancelled or significantly altered only to be released years later.

I personally do think VR is pretty cool, although I already have an Oculus Rift, so VR games on the PS4 aren’t going to do anything for me as I’m not going to get a PSVR too. At least Labo VR is cheap if I want to try that.

Insomniac would be better making their own IPs and creations rather than just working on licensed stuff without a stop.

Snake's Sneaking Suit actually has knee-pads, which I only half drew.

Like I said in an edit, Snake and Zamus should be wearing "superhero briefs" anyway, because it's there to conceal the crotch area.

People think Batman and Superman wearing them is silly, but then you hear about the thousands of dollars that were spent digitally editing Henry Cavill's groin in Man of Steel, when they could have spent, like, 20 dollars getting the "briefs" made.

Yes but all the games you just listed are pretty specifically for fans of Nintendo. They're all kind of catering to a market Nintendo already cornered. This isn't a bad thing, but Nintendo and Microsoft are not direct competitors in the way Sony and Microsoft are.

Without Sony there Microsoft is going to pull out every stop they have to try and win over converts in what is presumably the final two years of this gen. And it seems to be working, too. The Gamestops in my area have sold more Xboxes than PS4s over the last year for the first time ever.

Maybe they could do a decent job, but I would like the gameplay of a Fantastic Four game to maybe work like a mix of Ultimate Alliance with Kingdom Hearts.

Where the **** is ****ing Rocksteady.

Rocksteady has to make a Non-VR Iron Man or Hulk game.
They just nail the urban open world style of games, which fits Iron Man and Hulk great.
