Damn I need to work on my aerial positioning

I haven't been able to play in a while so I havent been able to practice fadeback aerials, which for someone who plays characters with incredible fadeback aerials, is a very bad thing

Great. It has new content from the old SJ, but it's optional and ignorable. Game's SUPER old-school in its design philosophy though. If you weren't into dungeon-crawling tile bases exploration, this won't change your mind.

In the Casino in Persona 5, about 63 hours in.

I’ve spoiled myself on a few things, but for those of you who have played it just know that I am very, very engaged to the point that I do not trust this one particular character at all and frankly hate his guts because I have a feeling I know is going to happen.

Haven’t spoiled the ending for myself, but all I will say is that if I somehow beat this game before Joker gets his gameplay reveal, I am going to be giddy to watch it as a fan that’s played Persona 5. Had I played this before his reveal, I feel like I absolutely would have crapped my pants during the Game Awards.

Dante Must Die difficulty in DMC5 makes me wanna die.
Especially on V's missions, you don't realize how hard a puppet character in an action game can be until the difficulty is ramped up to 11.

Every Mario I face online is incredibly thirsty for that Fair spike and it's terrifying.

Mario mains have zero chill.

I can attest to this.

Once fought a Mario that 3-stocked me, teabagged while doing it, and had pretty much zero-chill during the whole match. I got nearly two stocks on them in the match that followed that, and I honestly think I could have won against them if we fought again. Of course, that's when they decided to leave, though. :p

Makoto is alright. I like her as a character.

But for me? I went with Ann as my romance. Not only do I like her character development, but that... goddamn giggle. She's cute.

It's weird saying that as a teacher. But frankly the context of the game being played by adults who would likely look back at their own high school years makes it feel not that weird. Even funnier is the fact that I have had absolutely no intention of romancing any of the adults. Y I K E S.

To me, Futaba is just like, too much of a younger sister type vibe? Haven't had enough time to hang out with Haru but...eh. Still Ann for me. Also, I must say that the engagement with this game is so high for me that I don't think I'd be able to call myself a good person if I went with the "harem" romance result. I would feel like such a crappy person in the real world that I just don't think I could do it.

Maybe I'm weird. Or maybe that's just what happens when you play your first Persona game?

I was trying to buffer a shield monado, but it keep on going to some monando art in which I did not.
Right when I die, it goes to shield when I do not want it to go to shield.

I remember detesting online as Ike. All it would take is a full second delay and welp, there I go plummeting to the abyss because my nair is the slowest god damn move that makes Ike weigh down like an Acme anvil. It was agony. Now that returns with virtually every character with a vengeance.

Nah, that's basic human decency. Not sure I've ever met anyone who went full harem their first time around unless they were doing it intentionally for ****s and giggles.

Personally, I feel pretty weird because I always go celibate for these games.

Does anyone else deal with buffering for the Switch in general? Zelda, Xenoblade, Smash. etc. any game I try to play docked I can notice the input lag/buffers significantly. Playing handheld fixes this, everything is pretty much instant, but it sucks that I have to play handheld if I want bearable inputs, especially for an action game. The Switch took a lot of tricks to be cheap but having an extremely low rate of input reading shouldn't be one of them.

I actually woke up my parents with my screams of excitement. They were mad at me the next day but I didn't care lol.

Anyways, buckle up because you're about to hit the best part of the game. What happens following the Casino had me thinking for an entire hour about what just happened and how cool it was.

Good matches. But when you accidentally SD and your opponent SDs for you to make it even, then you both taunt since it's friendly, don't start a 35% combo in the middle of your opponent's taunt. That's just a **** move.
