Knight Dude
Keeping it going.
If I'm being serious, there's only really two choices for a Tekken character.
1. A Mishima family member, like Heihachi, Kazuya or Jin. The obvious and more likely of choices, should it ever happen.
2. The Boy Himself: Yoshimitsu.
He'd be pretty sick if they go all out with him. Showing up in both Tekken and Soul Calibur they have a TON of games to pull from. He also has the benefit of showing up in literally every Tekken game, which only a few like Nina Williams and Heihachi himself can claim. And he's one of the rare video game characters who changes his design per main game.
If you don't know much about Yoshimitsu, his playstyle is primarily based on being really tricky for opponents to figure out. Having a handful of stances to pull from that each lead to certain moves. He's hard to use, but really fun when you get going. The real difference between the SC and Tekken versions is that the SC Yoshimitsu uses his sword for normals more, while Tekken Yoshimitsu uses it for more flashy moves, until about Tekken 6.
If you want a run-down of some of his moves.
- Poison Breath
- Can fly by spinning his sword like a helicopter.
- Hops on his sword like a pogo stick.
- He can Meditating Stance, which can teleport, hit low with a sword sweep, or launch with his Kangaroo Kick.
- Basically has a low hitting Hurricane Kick.
- A Hara Kiri, that deals more damage to the opponent if they get caught in it.
- Crazy Cartwheel Kicks.
- A Teleporting Double Axe Kick.
- He an Steal an opponents health.
- He has an Izuna Drop.
Thanks for coming to my Late-Night TED talk for a character that'll never be added.
