Yeah, I retweeted it a few days ago.
He uploaded the other changes:
I like the changes here since these are a variety of moves that borrow from more games than his current moveset so let’s talk about it.
The changes to U-Smash and F-Smash being taken from Battle makes sense, though I’d miss his Wind-up Punch but if you want to throw in more Modern based moves these are the obvious choices for Up and Down Smash.
They WERE in PM btw, but as his Down Smash and Uptilt.
Fair from Battle makes sense, it’s also in PM. Uair is interesting and honestly is pretty brilliant if you follow up with that off of his Up-Special since it’s the animation he takes when bouncing off of Springs in CD/Mania/Rush. Also, it’s a way better idea than his weird scissor kick where he...weirdly claps his shoes together?
Nair being his Insta-Shield from various games like Sonic 3K, the whole Advance series, Generations and Mania is perfect and I’m honestly surprised it’s not in Smash already. Having a disjointed hit box makes sense due to the nature of the ability.
His Humming Top (air trick maneuvers in Advance and Rush) “Long Wind Jump” from Advance 1&2 and both Rush games. It functions as a way to gain more distances in the air as well as an attack.
Definitely more visually appealing than his current Bair and killing using this with Ultimates new slo-mo effect would be hype.
Now the new Down Smash?
Is a neat idea imo, the flame aspect definitely reminds me of Flame Somersault and Sonic Wave even if it’s not a direct inspiration though it’s also very similar to his old Down Smash from Brawl and I like its implementation with high shield damage from the front and high knockback on the back hit.
It’s also better than Daddy Long-legs The Hedgehog.
