I've been playing through the Bowser's Inside Story remake recently and it's a lot easier than I remember it being back on the original. Dream Team was actually a lot harder, in my experience.

Not that that's a bad thing (for me, anyways) but it definitely is interesting. To anyone who may know, did they rebalance things in this remake? 'Cause it really does feel substantially easier than when I had originally played it.

I've been playing it for a while and it seems like they reduced the damage bros attacks do, for one. They also adjusted some enemy attack timings to be easier to avoid. I remember one enemy I took several hits from, because I was used to dodging a faster attack than what actually happened.

tbh there's probably a universe out there where jill was revealed and staind was just never seen again because he got so hype

I was stuck in a perpetual labbing cycle, feeling too much pressure to be "the Jill guy" to actually play anyone until she was perfect, only to break out twenty years later when Smash Bros. Ultimate 3 Battle Royal for Switch U and 4KDS was coming out.

Lowkey though mate, the game is trash.

I like how the move sets change based on the heaviness/slimness of the figther.

But its kinda jank and needs a retooling.

Oh and 2 is worse than 1

The timing on the Bros. Attacks are actually throwing me off a lot, lol. They are by no means bad, it's just a lot of them are also in Dream Team and I'm used to how they worked in there because I played a lot of that one. I keep messing up the Green Shell because I'm used to the faster pace of Dream Team's combat. This game is a lot slower in comparison, so I'm messing up Bros. Attacks and counters a lot.

Bowser's combat still feels just as amazing as it was back then, though, so it's all good to me. His portions of the game were, IMO, where it really shined the most. The Bros' 2D sections didn't really get all that interesting until they brought in the Luiginary shenanigans in DT.

Also, I need to play Story of Seasons. I just haven't been too keen on the series since it changed its name from Harvest Moon.

I really hope they add more DLC for Mario Kart 8: I don't want to wait until Mario Kart 9 (which will likely be years and years away) to play a course based on New Donk City or to race on HD versions of Waluigi Pinball, Coconut Mall, Maple Treeway or Airship Fortress

Still, endlessly playing Cheese Land ain't so bad when it's music is so groovy - MK8's gotta have one of the best Nintendo OSTs in recent years

My go-to attack, jump helmets, got a serious reduction to damage which kinda sucks. But now the Super Bouncer feels really good to use, so now that's my go-to, lol.

As for Dream Team? Luiginary Ball, all the way.

I hear that. I walk to take the train to and from work four days a week. This winter has been terrible for lowkey constantly feeling sick.
