I love Black and White but replaying them reminds me of a major gripe I also had with them back at release - nonexistent gym puzzles.

Even if most of Gen 1's puzzles were minimalistic, at least they had a little bit of depth in allowing you to make a choice to fight gym trainers for exp. or dodge them to save time, but Gen 5 """puzzles""" are just hit a switch and then move forward. That's it.

Man a lot of Generation 5 designs are seriously underrated. I don't see how people can harp about how "bad" Gen 5 designs are when that's the gen that gave us Samurott, Serperior, Liepard, Zebstrika, Scolipede, Sigilyth, Sawsbuck and Haxorus, to name a few.

False alarm, everyone. False alarm. The game was just pairing me with really low GSP players. It eventually caught up.
