I think Rex being revealed as a Mii Costume right away and Sakurai saying he was too soon for the project plan, may have opened up the floodgates for Elma for DLC support

Friendly reminder that Caitlin Glass, Elma’s VO, still has a NDA role that is NOT related to the “good things are coming” tweet which turned out to be something else completely

I don't want my baseless opinions to discourage Elma's fans or anything, but seeing how she missed the base roster AND Rex is likely disconfirmed as DLC, her chances aren't looking too hot from my perspective. I just can't imagine why Nintendo would be like, "Forget about Rex and the characters from XC2, just add Elma. You know, that chick from the old Wii U game that only the dedicated Xenoblade fanbase would know about."

Unless XCX gets a port, I can't image why Nintendo would want to give her one of the five DLC spots.

Hot take: Spider-Man 2 is not a good film, it just looks good when compared to the other Raimi films.
I agree on the Cap and Toy Story movies though.

X also has NO music, and DLC characters will get a Stage AND music with them. Hiroyuki Sawano is cool with his music being used wherever too

Does surprise me a bit, though I wonder if it was less the artist and more the recording studio in this instance. I heard that could be an issue.
