Game journalists have been pretty good on the whole for a while now IMO, if there's still people complaining about them either I haven't seen them or I'm looking in the wrong places.

Eurogamer talks too much about Dark Souls in reviews like the ones for N Sane Trilogy or Reignited Trilogy.

And it even became a meme.

Sure, these games may not have aged as well, nowadays, but they were great games when they came out. and a lot of them helped shaped gaming to what it is today

2002 is still my favorite gaming year ever though. Specifically for Nintendo and my youth.
