Such an interesting manga. It puts a whole new perspective on the playable Yoshis in Yoshi's Story...

Other than the aforementioned sociopath Blue Yoshi, there's...

Edit: why out of all the images, Cyan Yoshi's is broken?
Why out of all the images, the best Smash Yoshi alt's is broken?

I am starting a charity.

All proceeds will go to the funding of a Splatoon anime and the protection of woomys, ngyes', veemos and weyos.
We must help the pure cephalopod children.

Just look at this face:

Why are you mixed on seal the deal? I'm curious; I've only played some of the death wish contracts and haven't played the new world yet, so I don't know everything about it.
Most of my problems come from the Death Wish part of the DLC rather than the Arctic Cruise (haven't played that portion yet).

Death Wish has...very questionable game design behind it. Some of them are very fun, rewarding challenges, and some of them are just tedious, Kaizo Mario level sadistic game design. For example: The Collapsed Rift levels. You get through a mirrored version of a purple Time Rift with harder enemy placement. Simple, right? Unfortunately, it isn't that simple. See, if you die in these DW contracts, you lose one out of three lives, and if you lose them all, you are forced to sit through a 5 minute cooldown before you are allowed to attempt it again. Worse yet is that in between each death, you have to sit through a taunt from the Snatcher and watch Hat Kid's death animation, which really starts to pile up on what feels like even more wasted time the more deaths you take. Speedrun challenges are all about trial and error, yet this game's response to that is to punish you for doing what it wants. Other speedrun levels leave the clock running during cutscenes and even when the game is paused, making things more pixel perfect than they really need to be.

An example of the tedium and IMO bad design in some of the contracts are levels like Collectathon in Mafia Town. You have to collect a certain number of Pons in order to beat the contract, with the added catch that each second that passes, you lose a pon, and if you hit zero, you die. This isn't really all that hard, it's just...a grind, and IMO not a fun one. It's just forcing you to repeat Mafia Town over over again until you know literally every single pixel so that you can meticulously plan out the perfect route and know where every single Pon is. It feels like simulated difficulty rather any real challenge, as it's more of a grind than any real skill involved.

The worst part is that every single cosmetic item from the DLC is locked behind these things, so if you want 'em, you gotta be ready to play through them and tough it out.

DW has positives for sure, but unfortunately, the negatives far outnumber them for me. There are two kinds of hard in a video game IMO: Fun hard, and stupid hard. DW unfortunately fits into the later more times than not.

I had no idea there was so much lore in the Yoshi Universe. I like Cyan Yoshi the best, and Red Yoshi should definitely hang out with Ike.

Obviously the stage is like Miiverse, only it's populated with quoted Smashboards posts. Have fun with that, moderation team.

Music? Uhhhhh.

So, would you say it would look something like this?:

Im praying lizuka played mario odyssey and saw all the positive press for mario getting costumes and will change his mind on costumes in the next sonic game

There has to be a reason a mobile game has been allowing this recently

I hear you on the difficulty part. I had to use tranquility to beat the very first challenge! It's not surprising that difficulty got cheesy, imo. They seemed like they really wanted DW to be extremely hard, so their only real option was to push the difficulty to that range, frustration levels be damned.

I hate it when my thumbnails do this.
View attachment 188332View attachment 188333

Kirby saved me. :p
Oh, I see.
By the way, here's a tip. When adding text to the thumbnails, try using a color that doesn't mix too easily with the background. In this video for example, the red text makes it hard to read because of the red background. I recommend using something like different colored borders, in order to make it easier to tell the text and the bg apart. Like here:

Other than that, everything seems pretty good. Keep up the good work.

I just had a thought. If Knuckles ever gets in as playable, his victory theme should be the last part of his theme "Unknown from M.E."

Agumon is more likely than Erdrick as a DLC character.
