I'm going to be away from, well, a lot of things for at least a couple of days. My pet box turtle that I've had for almost eighteen years, Kevin, passed away today. He went peacefully, with his eyes closed.

The worst feeling is not knowing what to put on his gravestone for how old he was. He was already fully grown when we found him and we could never figure out his age.

I just need to be away for awhile. At least until enough of this snow clears so I can bury him.
Take your time.
As someone who had to leave for a while too I can understand why you want to take a small break.
Hoping for the best.

hey so is it a club if villager doesnt use it as a club?

i mean you wouldn't say a bird building a nest with twigs is building a nest with clubs

clubs are by definition used to bludgeon people/as a weapon. villager just swings it in a circle

Marriage is a scam
You don't put your best friend in a contract because it's assumed you'll be friends forever so why do it to your significant other
It's illogical

I also spent a few thousand on a wedding that never happened and couldn't get refunded so maybe I'm just bitter

stop voting no, at least make an argument

I stole this from Merriam-Webster. If he were using a big honkin' tree branch then it could be loosely considered a club but it's not, he's using a ****in twig, and last I checked twigs can't exactly be used for bludgeoning someone with.

The stick is a stick
and using a stick as a weapon is a club

there is no weapon category for stick

thats like saying marth's sword and ike's sword are different despite still being swords

the villager's twig and the ore club are still clubs

Does that thing look heavy or like it could wack a ball?
actually yes it does

Villager is indeed using it as a weapon, however.
Also, it's sort of hard to tell how heavy it is, because Smash Bros is weird about weight.

Nobody swings a club overhead like a mofoking stick.
How you use it doesn't change its classification

I could hit you with a sword using the flat-facing side and it's still a sword.

Marriage is a scam created by religious people insecure about their **** size to go "Too late we're married you can't back out now if I can't satisfy you"

My deepest condolences, and take all of the time you need.
I will heavily miss you. Rest in peace, Kevin.

If a baby uses a club, that's a small club for the baby. It's huge for the baby. That's why it's a baby's club.

and villager is a small child
im sure you could give a newborn a stick but would the stick turn into a club once the newborn has it?
Villager's a mayor :dkmelee:
Also, it's still larger than a "bird nest" twig, and since he can use it to batter people pretty easily (Imagine how hard he has to "swish" it to be able to knock Bowser back with it) means it's suitable for clubbing people with.
Regardless of whether or not he uses it for how you guys think a club should be used.

Take a look at MMOs. You can get something like "Giant's Dagger" and it's a giant ****ing sword for us humans, but for the Giant it's just a dagger.

What it's intended use is for the intended user is how we can classify it. For the Villager, it's his club.

bu the doesnt batter people with it

he swings it around his head and plays with it

regardless of how hard he's swinging it above his head he's not battering anyone, it's not a club
