Well, isn't Forretress a fundamental competitive Pokémon? (At least until Ferrothorn showed up)

Anyone whose trained a Forretress would remember Pineco.

I do too! I hope they pull out the stops for this generation and fill it with dozens and dozens of new Pokemon! I'm so excited for this game, I can hardly stand it!

I also hope they don't make us spend nearly the entire game trying to evolve certain Pokémon, like with acquiring Vikavolt. That actually tested my patience more than it needed to. At least there's a low chance of that happening.

Vikavolt and Crabominable were ridiculous with how long they took to evolve.

That must of sounded tedious, yet accomplishing it was so satisfying.
It felt more like an adventure, but it was tedious.

The Eeveelution fails if you use a single Rare Candy or ever put it in the Daycare.

Because you need to earn that Dragon Fox.

I’m still curious what reasonable criteria would be necessary to evolve Eevee into the remaining types.

Like would Eevee have to faint a certain number of times to evolve into Ghost type?

I wouldn't say the monkeys because everyone bashes them so much, they end up becoming memorable. Same thing with examples like Phione, Finneon, or Jynx.

Honestly, I'd give it to Dhelmise, though I admit there's a bit of recency bias there. Alola was pretty bad when it came to its distribution of the newer Pokemon and that one was among the worst about it, so I honestly completely overlooked it until I was filling out my regional dex.

Alright, but what about a fighting type Eevee? And he gets Hadoken Aura Sphere?

A Dragon Eevee could be cool too, but I really hope it's mostly red or something, it'd look cool like that.
