I see that there’s a talk about Microsoft stuff coming to the Switch.

I wouldn’t mind it at all since I really want to try stuff like Halo, Rare Replay, Gears Of War or Game Pass for the first time ever.
I don’t think that it would completely involve Smash doh, since it isn’t a guarantee.

It only becomes a problem if they force that opinion on others that they need to have the same opinion as them.

I absolutely agree, people should definitely have the right to their own opinions. There's a huge difference in people who take their opinions as fact and those that treat them as what they are: Personal opinions and preferences.

LA Remake's artstyle is admittedly very different for Zelda, as it is very cutesy and almost Kirby-esque, and that doesn't agree with a lot of people. So, my earlier jokes aside, I do understand why people don't like it, even if I disagree.

I just end up getting bored with it...
Which is weird, because I love 3D platformers...
In fact, Super Mario 64 is one of my favorite games ever made...
I wonder why that is...

It’s a page for Women’s History Month, so there’s no need to use Pokémon unless they used Leaf. These are more obviously female (not up to discretion or debate) characters, so it totally makes sense.

We’ll have to keep an eye out on the future to see if bigger characters show up.

This is really weird. Now there almost has to be something bigger going on behind the scenes, whether it's Xbox Live on Switch, Banjo/Steve in Smash, Switch games on Xbox, or something else entirely.

There's just a certain innocent charm to Banjo that no other games really had back then. It's not trying to be anything more than a fun adventure, and it manages to be a pretty damn good one. IMO the games still hold up really well, especially for N64 games.
I fully understand that it's not for everyone, and maybe it's hard to get into if you never grew up with it, but it doesn't hurt to give it a couple chances.

tbf most platformers back then were actually horrible.
You'd have to search pretty hard to find someone saying that Glover or Gex is their favorite game.

Scorchbunny reminds me of a cereal mascot. Humanoid, stick limbs, clown feet, spherical body and head, button eyes and a black-line smile with no visible nose, and those obligatory fluff things on the side of the head. It looks like it should evolve into the Trix rabbit.

BK as a game series isn’t super special, it’s just a duology of pretty good games. I think the writing and the whole Microsoft thing is why it’s so fondly remembered. It had a sense of humour and charming characters to make it memorable to a young audience (although the quality of the writing itself is obviously debatable). The fact that Microsoft bought Rare and we didn’t see another main BK game again is what I think really cemented it, cause it’s an interesting story. That’s just my take.

I can understand that feeling.
There are a lot of times where I like a type of game genre... But at the same time a game from it doesn’t feel right for me at all.

One example are RPGs: While I love Dragon Quest a lot and the Pokémon games a bit... I didn’t have similar feelings when I played Octopath Traveller or some Final Fantasy games. The games weren’t bad, but something felt weird to me and didn’t make me like them as much as stuff like DQ8 or Shadows Of Almia.

Don’t worry about having these kind of feelings, it is completely natural.

Tbf, the internet claimed so much that Doom was a masterpiece to the point that many people forced me to buy or play almost every game and Brutal Doom.

However, I didn’t like it because it wasn’t my thing at all and I had too much pressure on.

Masterpieces don’t have to be loved by everyone.

I never said it was bad, I just never understood what made it stand out compared to other collectathons that were also pretty good.

Honestly, I really should play them at some point. I got Rare Replay sitting on my shelf, and outside of the occasional Viva Pinata, I don't play it much. I should change that.

It's like here's these super cool women and then here's a character portrayed by an awful person. Kinda puts a dampener on celebrating women to highlight one of the worst.
Replace her with I dunno... Kait from Gears of War.
