A few months ago, I met the VA of Bulbasaur. I asked her if it was awkward recording the lines for Pokemon, and she said yes. I am now about to experince that first hand. Let's go lads.

I forgot Tara Sands did Bulbasaur, I mostly remembered her from her Cynthia voice in the Generations shorts (shocker I know)

Yup. That's her. Met the VA for Brock and Meta Knight there, too. They're both really nice. Met a few other guys, such as the VA of Simon, VA of Dr. Cortex, and Charles Martine.

According to Wikipedia, Michele Knotz is the current VA. Tara Sands was 4Kids...

Speaking of VAs, I'm really sad that G5 MLP will be recasting. The Mane 6 we have now is so good, I'm gonna miss 'em. :(

Stuart (Right Back at Ya) or Newsome (Brawl)?

Speaking of, on the off chance Cynthia makes it in Smash I wouldn’t mind Sands returning. Another voice actress I can see for her though is Veronica Taylor. Meta humor aside, I do think her Sailor Pluto voice would fit Cynthia pretty well tbh.

Stuart. I actually asked him why Meta Knight had a Spanish accent, and he said that he based it off of a wrestler he liked. According to him, the directors were confused by it, but in the end it fit, so they went with it.

Once I met the VA of Betty Boop, then realized she voiced in Leap Frog. Those things were my jam back when I was like, 4.

Friendship is Magic is ending, which is the fourth generation of MLP. The next gen, G5, is starting with a new CG Movie in 2021 as a reboot, with a cartoon to come sometime after. Leaks we've had about it since 2017 say that they'll be recasting the VAs for the Mane 6 (most of the Mane 6 are also being reworked with species swaps).

I wonder if Matt Mercer would make a good Ryu Hayabusa? I mean I don’t see Ryu’s most recent voice actor Troy Baker reprising him in Smash (Mercer’s usually Baker’s replacement) and it wouldn’t be the first ninja he’s voiced.
