And then the guy just slooooowly moves the camera up to her boobs, lingers there for a little bit, and then moves up to her mouth and asks her to open it so he can record her teeth. Her ****ing teeth.

At that point we left because obviously it would be awkward to stay there as these people record softcore fetish porn, but damn it was awkward as hell the moment he started recording her feet.

Gotta be honest, I’ve done it as well. I learned my lesson with the first one and planned some things out next time, and just when we almost had everyone cast, I honestly just lost interest. If I do something like that again, I’m going to plan it out much more before I open a casting call.

When you do, let's talk, because I need to invest in my own equipment soon too. We pay to use a recording studio for all our voiced audio but hopefully this summer I'll take out a loan to get an actual studio of our own. I'm not sure yet what equipment exactly I want to get.

You're fishing for people to say that they don't want you to leave and it gets annoying. If you really don't like how you're acting, fix it. Stop being dramatic.
This goes for everyone who makes these kinds of posts.

Then, Casting Call Club. It's a great place to find talent. Then Twitter, because that's like the best place to find people posting their work with an easy way to communicate.

Yeah I use CCC as well. I just submitted my audition through Gmail. Still waiting for a response. These things look funny as heck.

Yeah. I saw this one guy who posted a project called "Undertale" and didn't even explain what the project was. The description said something along the lines of "I just got an account, so here we go!" Also found a guy claiming he was doing a Smash Bros. movie, and that it may get in theaters. He was obviously a kid. Heck, his entire demo reel was one line of a really bad sonic impression... I made a few projects before, but honestly they were kinda hastily made. I thought I could do them, but then I either kinda gave up, or life got in the way. Luckily, I now have a video game in the works which is coming along very well.

No one should even care about "adding something to the thread". This isn't a competition to see who can get the most replies or friends. Just talk about the things related to Smash that interest you, have fun, and enjoy yourself.

If you can't do that without getting depressed or overemotional, then maybe this isn't the place for you.

And I'm excited to see what it becomes! That's excellent that you're really making a game. Bravo.

My first project I tried to make was a Brawl machinima back on AllisBrawl. We got a cast with ****ing Faye Mata on it before she got big but it fell through because making it was so much harder than I thought it would be.

Thanks man! We still got a long ways to go, though. Haha. We actually created a new side character, but everybody really seemed to like her, so I may make her play a bigger role.

Speaking about projects, I was actually thinking of doing something a bit different for my channel. Just focusing around voice over stuff. The Smash Bros. channel was an ok idea, but I am not happy with how it turned out. May still do some Smash Bros. comic dubs or something, though.

Honestly man, I'd dig some speed drawings on your channel. People actually like them alot, and they help other artist improve.

Hey, buddy. No one has "the stuff" without experience. Don't get down on yourself. Keep trying. Our best actors have years of acting experience and it shows that they put in the effort.

> Be animated. Don't just read your line. You have to act it out. Your body language affects your voice more than you think, so don't be afraid to move and pose and everything you would if you were stage acting.
> If you're trying to get cast online rather than in-person, get a good mic setup. A lot of times a bad mic ruins an audition before it even starts. If you're serious, get some sort of padded space and a decent microphone.
> Don't be afraid of raising your voice. Seriously. Half the time I have to tell my actor something it's "louder". Project your voice so the editor doesn't have to fix the **** out of it in post.
> Lastly, if you want to learn to do multiple voices, take classes. There are things you can do with your mouth, chest, throat and head to physically force your voice to sound different, and it'll open up lots of routes for you if you have variance.
