Of course, it's why I've liked all of your posts in this discussion. To be fair, neither did Notch, but life does whatever life wants.
You do understand where I'm coming from though, right.
The only ones I can think of are the Game Boy Colour, Game Boy Advance and the Playstation 2.Oh I didn't. I'm in the middle of my TP:HD playthough now. I was being facetious.
My Wii U is still hooked up and I love it. But I have increasingly less reason to play it with no Miiverse and Splatoon 2/SMM2/MK8D/Ultimate/etc. making their old versions obsolete. It's kind of unprecedented how a console just straight up rips all the good stuff off the last console.
I dunno, the last time that happened with Ridley, we all got BTFO'd.If a leak seems too good to be true, by which I mean it has characters like Crono, Agumon, Banjo & Kazooie, etc I automatically discredit it, especially if there’s more than one such character on it
I’m pretty sure Mario Maker is restricted to games that use the classic power up health system (mushroom / fire flower / ect. as health) so, of those GB games, only Land 2 would work.I was wondering about Super Mario Maker 2 and what they could add... the All-Star/GBA variants of Mario 1 and 2 are definitely possible as game skins (they'd need new assets for the stuff that was new to Mario Maker but that's not impossible), and something I would push for.
So, main point, would Donkey Kong '94, Super Mario Land 2 and Wario Land work as game skins?
It was Vergeben who leaked him too.I dunno, the last time that happened with Ridley, we all got BTFO'd.
I just do not believe in bull ****. Absolutely no proof was given. No attempt so of course I’m going to say it’s fake. At least the grinch provided somewhat of a “faked proof”While I'm not denying that this leak seems fake, as a former guest/lurker of SmashBoards, I do find it funny that you guys immediately dismiss a new "leak" as fake after the Grinch happened, when before you guys were dicussing the Gardevoir "leak", the Office Theories, Music Theory, and stuff.
No, you stink LolololI saw the debate of whether it's best if something's kept a surprise or not. It really depends, Though in the case of Smash characters, I'd rather know it right away, they're selling me a season pass after all. It's also better for speculation so we can stop going "MY FAV IS COOL" "NO MINE IS" to "Hey what the hell is this character going to do?" It's infrequent, but the discussions people here have when talking about how Joker could work is fun as we KNOW he's coming and we now know he at the very least has a knife and Arsene
Some would argue it was dead right out of the gate.I only bought a Wii U for 4 reasons: Smash, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, and Xenoblade Chroincles X.
I feel sorry for those that bought a Wii U to be honest. It pretty much is a dead console now that the Switch is out, I'd argue it was dead long before then, but whatever.
Yeah, no kidding. I'm glad we've moved on to The Switch. Some would argue it was dead right out of the gate.
GBC is probably a good example with their "DX" games, but I always felt it was more of an incremental upgrade than a full-on upgrade to new hardware. And I don't think the GBA and PS2 straight up ported as much as they could and made incremental sequels as quickly as they could. They just had natural sequels for the most part unless I'm mistaken. And the Xbox 360 ported up like none of their games; it just offered backwards compatibility. The only ones I can think of are the Game Boy Colour, Game Boy Advance and the Playstation 2.
Possibly also the XBox 360.
And the first one is partially invalid now b/c Mario Maker 2 has a 3D World theme. If the Switch didn't come along and basically invalidate the Wii U's very existence, I'd argue it's a really good console.
But now unless you really want to play SM3DW, TMS#FE or, uh, Devil's Third? There's no point in having one.
When I bought a Wii U at like 5am on Black Friday, the guy who got it out of the case for me didn't know what it was. And the cashier who rang me up didn't know what it was. And nobody fought me to get the only one they had in stock. Some would argue it was dead right out of the gate.
Fixed that for you.Remember when we used to think Geno had a pretty good chance of getting in? The good times left us.
Dude, that's like saying you don't need a Pikmin game on Switch because Smash has Olimar and a Pikmin stage. And the first one is partially invalid now b/c Mario Maker 2 has a 3D World theme.
I mean... the levels are not in 3D, but it's got the art style of 3D World.
Well, it's not just ports.GBC is probably a good example with their "DX" games, but I always felt it was more of an incremental upgrade than a full-on upgrade to new hardware. And I don't think the GBA and PS2 straight up ported as much as they could and made incremental sequels as quickly as they could. They just had natural sequels for the most part unless I'm mistaken. Mhm. Ever since I got my Switch I felt jipped by getting my Wii U years ago. Fortunately I only bought like 3 games which are gathering dust along with my console. I gotta get around to selling them one day. Definitely not GameStop because selling stuff to them sucks ass.I only bought a Wii U for 4 reasons: Smash, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, and Xenoblade Chroincles X.
I feel sorry for those that bought a Wii U to be honest. It pretty much is a dead console now that the Switch is out, I'd argue it was dead long before then, but whatever.
I had this in my mind before I looked at my screen. Please step out.Fixed that for you.
Technically, it isn’t 100% dead:I only bought a Wii U for 4 reasons: Smash, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, and Xenoblade Chroincles X.

Did Verge even 100% say the VGA awards would be Erdrick?Objection! Last I checked, Joker isn't a Square Enix rep.
Yeah, but without Verge, Erdrick wouldn't have been as talked up as he has been lately. Also, he wouldn't have dominated speculation as much as he did up until that last direct. It was needlessly annoying.
Honestly **** like that is why Incineroar's Revenge is so fun, one moment you're getting body, then you're suddenly even lmaoHoly **** the vs matchup is so volatile
Either Pichu dies in 3 hits or Ganon doesn't get to play the game
The only reason I still have mine is if I occasionally feel like playing XCX again. That's it. If that XCX port turns out be to true, I'm either taking this to sell it somewhere or the dumpster.Mhm. Ever since I got my Switch I felt jipped by getting my Wii U years ago. Fortunately I only bought like 3 games which are gathering dust along with my console. I gotta get around to selling them one day. Definitely not GameStop because selling stuff to them sucks ***.
I remember watching a video about the Wii U's terrible marketing. The guy pointed out that everyone thought the Wii U was just a tablet add-on to the Wii, which is why barely anybody bothered. When I bought a Wii U at like 5am on Black Friday, the guy who got it out of the case for me didn't know what it was. And the cashier who rang me up didn't know what it was. And nobody fought me to get the only one they had in stock.
I should have seen the signs.
That's why I said partially. 3D World is my favorite Wii U game outside of Smash, and the only Wii U game I played 100% off.Dude, that's like saying you don't need a Pikmin game on Switch because Smash has Olimar and a Pikmin stage.
I would argue that Isabelle vs. Incineroar is worse, because either Isabelle dies in like 5 hits, or Incineroar gets camped out for the entire game.Holy **** the vs matchup is so volatile
Either Pichu dies in 3 hits or Ganon doesn't get to play the game
It couldn't run Gamecube disks. If you had the Homebrew Channel you could still run ISOs as the Wii U HAS the Wii's hardware in it which includes Gamecube functionalitiesWell, it's not just ports.
The GBC, GBA, PS2 and XB360 (I think) are all straight-up backward compatible with the old games.
If you have a PS2, there is literally no reason to have a PS1 unless you're a collector or you want the original experience (the PS2 increases load times of PS1 games on the whole, making for a better experience).
Same with the GBC and later the GBA.
The Wii also obsoleted the Gamecube, since it had the Gamecube ports. But the Wii U didn't obsolete the Wii, because it lacked those ports and was incompatible with Gamecube games.
Huh, didn't know that.It couldn't run Gamecube disks. If you had the Homebrew Channel you could still run ISOs as the Wii U HAS the Wii's hardware in it which includes Gamecube functionalities
Huh... so we're talking about matchups now... huh?Holy **** the vs matchup is so volatile
