If you don't want to support Atlus or Hashino that's completely okay, you have every right to as a consumer and I'm not going to fault anyone for that. That being said, if you feel really strongly about this just don't buy the character. If you've already bought either his fighter pack or the Fighters Pass then you've got options too:
  1. Donate the same or a similar amount to a charity supporting LGBTQ+ people and advocacy
  2. Spread the word about why you're concerned by the representation of LGBTQ+ people in Catherine Full: Body or their representation in media in general
  3. Advocate for LGBTQ+ rights yourself. Find an organization doing it and volunteer, intern, or even donate money as mentioned above. Maybe even go talk to a political official like district representative or senator(s) (if you're in America).
  4. Or just take it to heart. We're human; sometimes we make mistakes. Next time maybe don't jump the gun on purchasing a pack that you don't know the contents of, or do research on characters: who helped create them and what do they believe in, what does the character stand for themself, do those beliefs align with your values. Asking yourself questions like these before hitting the purchase button makes for a more meaningful decision that is harder to regret.
Please do anything but complain about it on the internet. It may feel good in the moment, but ultimately it does nothing. At best it's virtue signaling and you show how moral of a person you are. At worst you're drowned out by a sea of supporters and dissenters and you come off as another part of a conglomerate thought process because you made a knee-jerk reaction to a piece of information alongside hundreds of thousands of others who did as well. Either way you're making little to no real change in the world, and that's what you should be doing. Not ragging on an innocent character.

I get that this comes incredibly late, but I just saw that pop up while reading over the thread myself and felt the need to address it. If the moderators feel the need to remove it, by all means please do so.

Platinum, Soul Silver and BW were all only a year apart from the previous release? What the heck? The distance between them all felt so long when I was a kid. It's scary thinking about how quickly years go by now that I'm an adult, and they'll only keep going faster. It feels like Breath of the Wild has been out forever though, so at least time isn't moving that fast yet.

The inevitability of death by old age is not what I want to be thinking about in the middle of the night when I should be sleeping. Playing this game was not a good idea for me.

Total Drama World Tour is very underrated. I watched through it three times because of how awesome it is. The third time, I was watching it with my sister, which she did in exchange for me getting her some juice (she can be lazy).

Let's see. Metroid Prime, Metroid Fusion, Super Mario Sunshine, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, Kingdom Hearts, Morrowind, Sly Cooper, Resident Evil Remake, Splinter Cell, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Battlefield 1942 off the top of my head. I'm sure I missed a lot though. But Mario, Castlevania, 2 Metroid's, the start of a ludicrous online Shooter in Battlefield, Resident Evil, the start of the cult or Kingdom Hearts, and Grand Theft Auto all in one year? Oof.

Edit: oh and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance came that year as well. Just remembered.

Wow I can't believe Sakurai picked Korra over Danny Phantom or Jimmy Neutron. Like did this game seriously need more generic anime characters?

Jokes aside, maybe it's because I'm too old for them but any Nick crossover without Aang gets a big no from me, and the lack of Danny really doesn't help.
