What about MM Link for Young Link? We really don't have a good idea of how Echoes work anymore beyond "must have the same body shape". Though even without the Masks to a big degree(bar the Final Smash), having all the MM stuff plus maybe something like the Razor Sword and a somewhat different coloring/build or even wearing a specific Mask at all times could help 'em feel apart.

Also, maybe TP Link for regular Link as an Echo? And heh on Chibi Link.

Because I want as many different styles of Links in this game as possible, and MM Link is the same Link as OoT Link.

So yeah, Fighter #72 is TP Link. And y’know what?

What about Cartoon Link?

Let’s make Cartoon Link 3E, and we’ll instead make CDI Link an echo of TP Link. He’ll be 72E.

Furthermore, fighter 73 will be Skyward Sword Link, with HW Link as an echo.

Also, every Link has the same 4 special moves, just to screw with the fanbase.

Oh, yeah. Toon plays totally differently and always has. I'm talking about using a different inspiration for his specials than bomb/boomerang/arrow/hookshot. We have three different Links in the game and the most we could differentiate was... remote bombs.

Toon Link should've at least had a Deku Leaf from the start.

That being said, if you feel really strongly about this just don't buy the character. If you've already bought either his fighter pack or the Fighters Pass then you've got options too:

1. Donate the same or a similar amount to a charity supporting LGBTQ+ people and advocacy
2. Spread the word about why you're concerned by the representation of LGBTQ+ people in Catherine Full: Body or their representation in media in general
3. Advocate for LGBTQ+ rights yourself. Find an organization doing it and volunteer, intern, or even donate money as mentioned above. Maybe even go talk to a political official like district representative or senator(s) (if you're in America).
4. Or just take it to heart. We're human; sometimes we make mistakes. Next time maybe don't jump the gun on purchasing a pack that you don't know the contents of, or do research on characters: who helped create them and what do they believe in, what does the character stand for themself, do those beliefs align with your values. Asking yourself questions like these before hitting the purchase button makes for a more meaningful decision that is harder to regret.

Please do anything but complain about it on the internet. It may feel good in the moment, but ultimately it does nothing. At best it's virtue signaling and you show how moral of a person you are. At worst you're drowned out by a sea of supporters and dissenters and you come off as another part of a conglomerate thought process because you made a knee-jerk reaction to a piece of information alongside hundreds of thousands of others who did as well. Either way you're making little to no real change in the world, and that's what you should be doing. Not ragging on an innocent character.

The biggest crime against the Toon games is the fact he still doesn't have his iconic Hurricane Spin attack, closest thing was a custom move in Smash 4 as well as the trail that he had that was later changed again in Smash Ultimate.

Never played a LoZ game in my life, but as a Ganondorf main, and as someone who loves the hell out of his WW version regardless, I’d love to have him in.

Nah, it's ok, after all I been a Ridley supporter too and I remember people always telling me that Ridley wouldn't ever do it, even days before that E3 where he was confirmed, and that every leak with Ridley was automatically 100%.

Also keep in mind there's certain games I want to try out, but keep forgetting to get. Such as BotW. It's also weird how with the games I love the most, that's usually the year with a ton of other games I love.
