I would say Pokemon has a chance because it has a precedent for it, but FE never had that precedent and therefore I don't think Byleth has too much of a chance

Also IDK why everyone is saying Edelgard of all people would be the 3 Houses rep if Byleth is the main character and she's no more important then gay archer boy and pasta headass

Story of Seasons is the true Harvest Moon. I don’t consider that trademark issue to be canon. It was blasphemy. Harvest Moon is Harvest Moon. The current Harvest Moon games are Harvest Moon game spinoffs called Harvest a Moon while Story of Seasons is the actual harvest moon.

To be fair Edelgard seems to have had the most speaking lines and "focus" thus far, so maybe while the trio is equal with one another, Intelligent Systems/Nintendo might be pushing Edelgard to be "the popular character" of Three Houses. Still 99% doubt she or any other Three Houses rep is getting into Smash though.

I mean, one thing he has constant is that the main character is always added first from all unrepped games, hence why we have all the sword lords

I know this is apparently (idk much about FE I just find their characters really fun) a point of contention among Awakening fans that Robin got added before Chrom but apparently it's debatable

I think Banjo is 100% the best choice. Unlike Sora, Banjo is a legacy Nintendo character, and he's been woefully neglected by Nintendo. I'm not a huge fan of characters with 0% Nintendo history getting into Smash. Cloud and Snake are outliers due to their status' as rivals to Nintendo in the 90s.

The good thing is that all 3 Lords in FETH don't use swords so no matter who they'd choose, we're guaranteed a new weapons. Edlegard uses axes, Claude uses bows and Spaghetti Man uses lances. Nothing could go wron--

Mostly because I don't give a **** about Banjo but at least I know some stuff about Sora and also Banjo's kinda ugly imo. He's also irrelevant and probably less popular then Sora amongst the general audience. And I think that Sora has better moveset potential from and outsiders perspective, what with all the badass stuff he does when he's flying around and swiping his sword and summoning **** like damn

It technically fits though, since nearly every definitive DQ game is on a nintendo console.

1-3 remakes on the SNES
4-6 remakes on DS
7-8 remakes (with more content) on 3ds
9 on DS only.
10 was a Wii only game until later releases of it
11 now is definitive on Switch.
