I still know nothing about FE but if this game has a "canon" route then Edelguard is probably it, what with all the screen time she got in the Direct

So I'm assuming Link's Awakening is a Zelda game but also a Nintendo crossover?

There are a couple of Nintendo crossover cameos in the game, even as main game elements (like the Chomp), but they are treated as different characters, with different names and roles, so they look the same but are different beings. Similar to how Majora's Mask reuses the characters from Ocarina but they are different characters.
Other than that, there are weird things in this game but it kinda makes sense as you play the game and discover stuff/lore.

Reminds me of early days of Pokemon Go where Team Instinct was considered the worst, and then BAM everyone was on board. Probably not helped by the fact they're red, blue and yellow.

So what's the current situation of the SE rep rumor? Is Erdrick still likely or does it look it's going to be thrown out the window now? Doesn't this direct also hurt that 5ch leak with Hayabusa and Doomguy?

Erdrick still has a decent shot, although w/ all the DQ stuff in the Direct and no sign of him, I'm becoming more skeptical of him again.

And I don't really think many people were believing the 5chan leak that much prior to the Direct.
