There was some last night and there's more schedule throughout the week.

The earliest anyone expects anything to be hinted at is the middle of the week, usually to precede a Thursday evening in the US/Friday morming in Japan time frame. This is also when DQ Builders 2 on Switch should be releasing.

Actually I just remembered Verge saying before release the Minecraft content was... a boss. While the bosses were actively being datamined.

Verge generally speaking has a crap record regarding DLC. He only got Erdrick because of the datamine and Tansut's claim and latched onto Banjo after Shinobi sent out the signal. Nothing really juicy yet on his end. Even if there's a Steve Mii costume that's an easy guess with Banjo being in.

EDIT: Actually he did say he heard about a "Square character" around August so maybe he's got something. idk, we'll see.

Okay, so as a Steve supporter, I'm just going say this on behalf of all the supporters of characters who have been mocked:

Not wanting a character in because of the way some people in their fanbase act isn't a legit reason on why they shouldn't be in Smash. In fact, it's probably the weakest argument you can give.

It's alright then.

Even if they don't get in, the game already seems to have neat stuff to make me jump into it.

There's nothing wrong with not buying it due to a lack of National Dex.

What is wrong is when people lash out on others for being hyped, calling them corporate *** kissers or something.

Which in return, causes those to be hyped to lash out on those who aren't, calling them all deadbeat clowns.

And then then rinse and repeat. You can switch the order around if you want to.

I don't think this controversy will be the death of Pokemon like some people believe, and I doubt this game is going to sell poorly.

I've definitely seen the toxicity come from all directions, which has made me want to try to avoid it as much as possible. People need to learn to respect those with differing opinions and not get so worked up--it's just a video game in the end.

Gamefreak certainly messed up on the messaging, and there were ways to do it better (though, there'd still be the controversy no matter what they did). It's certainly going to sell well regardless, I can't imagine why some would think otherwise. Pokemon's the type of series, for better or for worse, sells well no matter what. That could always change in the future, but as it is now, there's too much momentum that can't be stopped.

They’re really going in on the kaiju theme.

My favorite Pokemon not being in the game was basically my main issue with the game. I didn't really care about the graphics or anything I just wanted any of my favorite Pokemon in and now that pumpkaboo as in, I'm happy
