Welp, I spent fifteen minutes on a Machamp mii submission, but then I realized "wait...wouldn't his first form be way more natural on a Mii?
Enter Machoke.
Job 98: Machoke (Mii Brawler)

Machoke would be a deluxe Mii Brawler outfit-covering the wearer's face with a full helmet. He may not be as popular as Machamp, but he's still well liked and fits way better as a costume. Also he's cute.
Just checking that you meant Machop rather than Machoke. Machoke is the mid level evolution.

Marowak
Mii Swordfighter

While not entirely a deluxe costume, it gives the Mii a Marowak skull helmet plus a rather plastic-looking body costume that has a slight sheen to it...like the old masked fighter tv shows that came from Japan. The sword is the bone club Marowak fights with. I decided to go with the non-Alolan form as that’s a bit more iconic.

Alright, we will be voting for our upcoming Mii Costumes based off Pokemon! These Mii Costume showcase will be featured later on in the Direct which includes the Pokémon outfit we decide. We will be including more than one submission. As always, please vote for your top three. Ranked voting is active so your first choice gets three points and your third choice gets one. You May vote for your own submission for the second and third choices.

It should also be mentioned that the voting for the Gen VIII Pokeball Tiebreaker has also closed and it appears we will be adding Rillaboom to our lineup, rounding out the Galar starter trio alongside Cinderace and Intelleon

Job #99: Item Submissions

After covering our new Pokeball Pokemon, the Direct will transition to showing off new items that will appear in Infinite. Unlike in previous Directs, we will showcase each item and then over a brief explanation on each item. Previously, Directs just showed the item without much context.

Please submit the following items. You can either do everyone of them or not but please submit at least two. We already have enough summoning items that will summon a character so please avoid these in your submissions.

1. Please submit an original item that’s not from another franchise.
2. Please submit a Legend of Zelda item.
3. Please submit an item from a Retro IP. Retro is anything that appeared before the SNES. This can include first or third party content and from a franchise that has a representative fighter or not in the game.
4. Please include an item that is from the Mii series. This includes games like Find Mii, Tomodachi Life, Miitopia, and Miitomo.

Item Submissions:
Retro: Atom (Bubsy)

This one I'm not too sure on the viability of. It's from a series that debuted on the SMD and SNES, but a PS1 game. I have got a backup item from Rockin' Kats if this is a no-go. You can pick up and run with the atom, but when you throw it you charge it up. The longer you charge the longer it'll reach and the more powerful the explosion will be when the atom splits - however charge it up too long and it'll explode in your face, dealing great damage to you and leaving you dizzy, though if you somehow catch your foes in the crossfire it'll deal even more damage

Mii: Pro Lure (Nintendogs + Cats)

Lures exclusively exist in Nintendogs + Cats, a game I'd say used Miis enough to be considered a Mii game. Your fighter stands in place and cranks the lure, causing the string to extend. Your movement is then given to the string, you can have it go back, under platforms, and even jump. You can extend the string a relatively long distance. Any foe who steps on the string will follow the path to grab the toy bird, losing control of themselves in the process - if they reach the bird without being hit out of the trance or being sent off-screen, they'll pick it up and can use it as an extremely weak one-use projectile akin to Villager's plank of wood.

Job 99

Part 1:

Tarot Cards

This would function like Daybreak or Dragoon where you need to collect 3 of them.

There are 3 Types of Tarot Cards. Red, Green, Blue. To activate an effect you need to collect 3 of one color. once you collect 3 matching ones an effect will happen
Red - You grow giant and gain the Star effect
Green - You heal 50% of your damage
Blue - You cast what is essentially a Giant Thwack in front of you.

The art on the Tarots take inspiration from SFV and all the art are characters that represent each arcana

Part 2:

Hyoi Pear

Once picked up it is placed on your head, After a bit A Seagull will come by and eat it, This seagull will then fly around the stage picking up items and giving them to you and dragging enemies off the stage, The Seagull can be KO'd

Part 3:

Try-Your-Luck Sign (Startropics)

Once activated it will randomly either add or take away a Stock or Point from the user.

Part 4:

Problems (Tomodachi Life)

Randomly a Speech bubble will appear and the icon inside will be one of the ones from the game, once attacked the bubble appears next to your HUD and you now have a quest, each problem has a specific quest and completing the quest nets you a reward.
Normal - Quest: Deal 20 points of Damage, Reward: A Weapon item
Friendship - Quest: Summon a single Assist character (Assist Trophy, Pokeball, Boss Sphere, Breidablik), Reward: that summons duration is increased
Love - Quest: Perform a Perfect Shield, Reward: Heart Piece
Sadness - Quest: Recover from Off-stage after being Launched by an enemy, Reward: Metal Box or Super Star
Playful - Quest: Taunt, Reward: A Random Item.

I'll try to submit an item if possible. In the meantime, I'll vote.
1. Magikarp
2. Sawk and Throh
3. Marowak
This might've been the hardest voting period yet. So many great ideas have been presented. Honorable mentions to Croagunk, Machop, Slowbro, and Aegislash armor. By the way, Krookodilian Krookodilian , that mock up looks sick. Good job.

Original Item: Snowflake
Picking up this item causes a chilly air to envelope the player. Getting close the player who holds it is May freeze the opponent but contacting them directly is sure Fire way to get frozen.

Legend of Zelda Item: Dominion Rod

Whack the person with the Rod and take control of them. Opponents at higher damages are far more susceptible. If you move forward, the controlled opponent does too. If you jump, they jump. Performing an attack or Smash Attack will cause them to perform a neutral jav attack, a forward tilt, or forward Smash attack. The opponent can smash the control stick to get out of the Dominion Rod’s control.

Mii Item: Antique Charm

After “equipping it” players get surrounded by a guardian spirit which will form a bubble around them composed of blue energy. It will periodically heal them, reflect projectiles, and cause knockback to those who come near but also drastically reduced the speed and jumping stat of the holder while also preventing them from attacking.

New Items

Four Swords (ZELDA)
1620305216766.png

When you pick up this sword up you will immediately create 3 more versions of yourself, this benefits you more as you are now have the advantage but with the cost of limiting your other self to only attack with the Four Swords, basically doing the standard sword item attack but now the range is more shorter. As long as the sword is still equipped the clones will be permanently present throughout the whole match, if you toss the sword away or if someone knock it off from their hand the clones will immediately disappear until someone else pick them up.

Ring of Fire (RETRO)
61nsKYo_34x.png

For context, Ring of Fire is an obstacle introduced in Circus Charlie, an old Konami game developed and released in 1984 for the arcade, here you control the player character Charlie in a series of obstacle in order to entertain the audience watching your performance. The game is split into 6 different level, the first level involved Charlie riding a lion and jumping through flaming hoops and pots which is the inspiration for this item.

While in the original game they are 2 different obstacle in Smash they act as one. when the item spawn in you can ignite the fire by either picking it up and throwing it or use an attack that deal fire damage and effect, once ignited it will form a giant flaming ring and act mostly as a stationary obstacle, the only way you can go through it is... well, jump over it which if you successfully did it it will grant you temporary speed and power boost.

Zelda Item: Rods
1620317809730.png
1620317782959.png
1620317822599.png

When picked up, these items work similarly to the Star Rod, but each of the three rods have a different effect if their blast hits an opponent. If a lightning rod is used, a hit opponent will receive electric damage, momentarily stunned. If a fire rod was picked up, flame damage will be done. And if an ice rod is used, then freezing damage will be dealt.

Mii Items:
Hypnotizer
1620317501636.png

When grabbed, the Hypnotizer will swing back and forth where it was picked up. If an opponent is within the range of its effect, they will fall asleep.

Items:

Original Item: Butter

The Butter item would be a stick of butter. You pick it up and throw it at another fighter. If a fighter gets hit with the butter, they become slippery. As simple as that.

Zelda item: Dubious Food
BE05C5A8-99F0-4D93-A7DA-BB4CB847A829.png

The dubious food item would make an appearance as an item. The dubious food can be eaten by tapping a, or holdable by grabbing it. If you eat it, then you get healed of 3% damage... as well as being poisoned... However, if you grab it and throw it at another fighter, then the effects apply to them!

Job #99 Retro Item: Balloon
1620320143161.png

Gives any character that picks it up the Up Special of Villager, allowing them to have a much improved recovery. Once an Up Special is used the Balloon pops. Villager will have a third balloon attached to his Up Special since he already uses the balloons for his recovery, which will make his recovery go even faster and further than before.

Zelda: Tingle Tuner

Shoot your foes to turn them into Tingle! You've got one shot so use it carefully.

Tingle is basically a mini fighter who's utterly useless. He can only throw rupees with B (deals 1 damage) and trip over with A on the ground. (also deals 1 damage) he has the worst possible stats. Running and jumping are avaliable to him, shields, grabs, taunts, items, and dodges are not. Luckily, the Tingle transformation only lasts about 7 seconds, though any damage gained in it will transfer over. Tingle reuses animations from Luigi so he won't dig into dev time.

Job 99a: Submit a Mii-related Item

Sprinkles (Miitopia)

When dropped on the ground, the item takes the form of a seasoning shaker with different colors inside. Each sprinkle has a different effect, and to activate it, the fighter will automatically toss the item down, shattering the shaker and making them glow slightly the color of the sprinkles.

1620320569902.png

Green HP Sprinkles restore health at a rate of 1% for 10 seconds. (50% chance to appear)
Yellow MP Sprinkles prevent moves from staling at all for 12 seconds. (35% chance to appear)
Blue Life Sprinkles will provide the user with an extra stock, only appearing in stock matches. (1% chance to appear)
Purple Shield Sprinkles will strengthen the user's shield for 12 seconds, reducing shield damage by 40%. (13% chance to appear).
Red Hyper Sprinkles instantly fill the Final Smash gauge if it is on, or grant the user a Smash Ball otherwise. (1% chance to appear)

Job 99b: Submit a Zelda item

Spinner (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)

1620321113607.png

The spinner can be picked up and thrown, and acts similarly to a larger version of R.O.B.'s gyro, with one notable exception - it keeps moving forward once it hits the ground for a short time, even going off ledges and platforms; it's series of weak hits can carry fighters with low percentage's like Steve's jab. You can also ride on by either jumping on top or throwing it at your feet, for a... um, surprise attack? Just hope the enemy doesn't jump over you, or you'll have to get off and miss the opportunity of a lifetime!
