While I would go into a tie breaker for these, I’m more inclined to include them as they are all great ideas. We will be adding Aipom, Hitmontop, Umbreon along side Mumbo Jumbo, Dragonlord, Kula Diamond, Sateth, and Fat Chocobo.

Adrianette Bromide Adrianette Bromide , as I said above, Fat Chocobo is not enligible as a Midgard summon. If you want, you can replace it.

I’m extending stage submissions for 15 hours. I can’t get to compiling them for voting until then sadly unless someone wants to take care of it. Sorry.

Ok I don't want to double post but memes aside, I do feel a bit bad since Fat Chocobo makes more sense for a Midgar Summon over being an Assist Trophy since being a summon is what it is in FF7. That and I didn't know that we'd be making summons for Midgar until after I had already submitted my job.

If it's not too much to ask, could Fat Chocobo be placed on the voting for Midgar summons and if it wins, the AT placement will go to Tifa? I would much rather see them as summon than an AT slot that could go to an actual character.

Shiva: Summon
When appearing, Shiva will perform Diamond Dust, as it appears in Final Fantasy XV. A bunch of them will fly up towards the sky in a spiral, creating a blizzard in the center of the stage. Anyone caught in the center of the blizzard will be frozen with the force of a PK Freeze, but with a bit more damage and knockback. Anyone not in the middle of the blizzard but instead, on the outer part of it, will have minimal constant damage done to them.

Wevare currently sitting at 1/4 summons. Unless we get 5more in a short amount of time, then we won’t be doing a voting. I can remove Fat Chocobo and instead give the win to Tifa.

I already submitted a Shiva summon and we currently only have that one since Fat Chocobo is out of the running.

If that's the case can I request my Fat Chocobo submission gets moved to Midgard while Tifa gets the slot? That would net more overall FF7 contest and I'm still happy because Fat Chocobo and Tifa Lockhart would be in the game :)

Midgar Summon: Phoenix

I've never played FF7, but given that we don't have enough submissions I figured I'd make a summon concept. When Summoned Phoenix appears far in the background, and flies to the top of the screen as a rainbow emerges around it. Once Phoenix has flown to the center of the screen and is close enough it flaps its wings in place and lets out a screech which shakes the screen. The ground is set on fire for 10 seconds after the screech, and opponents can only be safe from damage on platforms. When Phoenix flies away, the summoner is healed by 40%, referencing Phoenixes ability to revive party members.

Ok, so what we have is:

Summons #1: Fat Chocobo

(I’m going with my submission Janx_uwu Janx_uwu if you don’t mind. They are more or less the same)
Summons #3: Phoenix

Some ideas includes Alexander, Titan, Typhon, Knights of the Round or, outside of Final Fantasy 7, Anima, Kirin, Carbuncle, Valefor, Garuga, and Doomtrain. Honestly though, the first four on probably best.

When summoned, the Knights of the Round all appear in the background. One by one, they vanish and perform a diagonal sword strike too fast to see, aimed at an opponent. This is similar to how Latios and Latias behave when summoned from a Poke Ball. The final strike, performed by King Arthur (the knight in the center), is particularly powerful.

I figure since we have Among Us and Cut the Rope spirits, Plants Vs. Zombies Spirits were also in order. I think the next Smash game will have more mobile game representation (even though Plants Vs. Zombies originated on PC), but still stick to Nintendo games, and all three of these series have games on Nintendo consoles. Among Us is on switch, Cut the Rope got a 3DS game, and Plants Vs. Zombies is playable on the DS with some exclusive content.

I thought about including Garden Warfare and Plants Vs. Zombies 2 content, but only the original appeared on a Nintendo console, and I also didn't want to add too many spirits for a series without a fighter. If Crazy Dave gets added later on though I'll revisit some of my ideas.

Quick question, if a series gets Spirits and then gets a fighter who wasn't Spirited later on, will we need to protect them beforehand? Also, will we go back and alter any of those Spirits? Mainly referring to PvZ, because I think it'd be cool to have Crazy Dave on the roster and I'm not sure how much that would interfere with the Spirits.

Alright, here are the results of the Alternate Costumes voting. This was more so a trial to see how this would go so, with that in mind, I’ll be using these results to help in doing the melee version next time.

We had a total of 17 responses which is a great turnout. I tried to be as fair and transparent when doing this so everyone had a chance of getting an alt featured. When we had a tie, I took several things into consideration:
Does the alt actually work?
Is it to familiar to other ones?
Did the submitter have multiple submissions that won?
How was the submitters results in the previous round?

Again, my focus was to make it fair, balanced, and unbiased. The order you see the alts are not in the order of how many votes they got but, rather, how natural the lineup looks. Alt costumes were placed in the end. Luigi got a lot of alt costumes which was something I wanted to avoid. It’s preferable to have 1 or 2 max for characters that don’t have them but it is what is it.

If Crazy Dave gets in i'll update my PvZ spirits with according stage and music, and possibly fighter depending on which plants are used in Crazy Dave's moveset. If having PvZ spirits in before the fighter somehow prevents Crazy Dave from getting (I don't think that it would) in I would rather he get over the spirits.

I think it should be ok. The only protected Spirit is Metal Slug’s Marco and Fio as well a Coco Bandicoot. We can always make exceptions later on. It’s also important to remember that the Spirit List on the front page is the definitive list of which spirits gets in. I can place Crazy Dave on the list of you wish and then vote to continue protections of him later.

Yes, we can go and alter spirit content later.

I vote for Venus' Battlefield and Final Destination concepts. The idea of duality is very neat and the descriptions really helped me visualize them.

I can't wait for us to get to the name. I'm already coming up with ideas.
