Hello All,

New to UIUC (CS grad student), and I'm wondering if I might play some Melee. Do you guys have a certain night you play on, or is it just random and unorganized?

Well from what i understand, we usually play saturday evenings. but tbo, most of the get togethers i've had were random >.<

I wonder if they'll ever realize that trying to phase out "UIUC" in favor of "Illinois" was a dumb idea.

we play at pretty random times

just post up if you wanna play, although I think I may have to only setup

I suppose saturday afternoon is the next time that looks good for me

I don't think Durian wanted to do another tournament, and he doesn't seem to be very active anyway. You new guys are going to have to get that going if you want it to happen.

BunBun will help you run it.

If you need another person under the category of "hasn't run a tournament before but is willing to try" to help you, let me know. Or if you decide not to do it, i'm totally down to lead the effort. I just need people to point me in the right direction.

i'm looking for people to smash friday or saturday night. any takers?

I'm free anytime after 2pm friday. I've only got one setup, but anyone who wants is welcome to my place (around siebel center. PM me for address and phone). I softmodded my wii this summer so there are texture hacks and whatnot.

everyone come to smashing grounds i might go if others do. i haven't played since may so i need motivation to go because obviously i won't be going to try and beat anyone. twins going?
