So here's my pool for Pound 4.

1. Chibosempai (Samus)
2. mathos (Falco)
3. Quaz (Peach)
4. Vwins (Peach)

I hate playing Fox vs. Peach. Do any of you know how good Quaz is? He's from Wisconsin I think.

hey champaign, there's a smashfiesta this saturday at Dart's house in Peoria. Everyone that wants to smash should come, peoria and springfield(almost sure) is gonna be there. We're trying to get more people, like STL and Chicago. the More people the better

He's good. Ray says he'd destroy me. Said he's good at shield pressuring and fox killing.

That pool looks really tough. But also take into account I suck now and I have no idea how good you've gotten.

that is...a strange pool. imo, it depends on how good chibo and mathos are. i didn't know either one of them still played. quaz is still playing consistently

Good at shield pressure? I thought the only shield pressure Peach players have is jab or dsmash. Ughhh Peach is my worst matchup.

Chibo isn't that great, he mainly plays Brawl now. I'm probably going to have trouble with Mathos, but if I'm on my game I think I could take him. My main problem now is these two Peach players.

EDIT: Quaz got switched out of my pool with someone named Zeke. I think it's because he and Mathos are both Midwest.

it's easy depending on who you are. assuming a normal progression in skill from the last time i played joey, i think it'd still be pretty hard. although he does play in a better coast.

edit: actually if chibo isn't good due to brawl, quaz is gone, and mathos is rusty, i think you can get out joey. top 2 or 3 get out?

are soa results already supposed to be out? mine aren't, but i guess i already know the result anyway. matt how did you do i see a lot of outposters say they passed when they all thought they were gonna fail

I passed MLC. I'm doing C this spring because I'll have lots of time to study, and then I'll move on to MFE.

actually, since they're offering C 3 times this year, i most likely will be taking exam 5 in may, 4/C in august, and 6 in november

no breaks but i really wanna get to 6 by the end of the year. new year's resolution and all that. plus 5 pretty much tests on all the basics that pricing actuaries do in their jobs so that might be helpful

Henrik, since C is jointly administered, shouldn't you be able to check the pass list as well?

yeah i was checking my transcript online to see what my score ending up being but i forgot they take a little longer to update that. i don't really need to check the pass list, i have no chance.

haha i did worse than i thought

there's only like 4 smashers left at uiuc everyone graduated or left for other reasons. at least for melee

the more i think about it the more i like this order

P--->FM--->MLC--->MFE--->C

P/FM are easy and short, MLC is medium but long, MFE is hard but short, C is hard and long

edit:looks like kels and drephen are going into round 3 of pools. apparently dr pp 3-stocked kels twice. that guy must be a beast
