I think this was my favorite tournament I’ve ever been to

1st time entering melee ever since 06.

I was the kid with the lucario hat so if you were one of the many random people saying "nice hat" thanks.

Ekoli: I got ***** lol, nice seeing you again at In and out.

Doppel: I can't believe we were in the same pool! again I got ***** :< but I took out one stock so thats an accomplishment for me.

Mill: last guy I had to play in pools, nm to say.

PBS: I got destroyed, didn't say much after the set.

Pat: Great tournament!

Fly: nice talking in line and outside the venue around 9:30 lol, good stuff winning teams!

playing melee again was fun, but also kinda make me sad cause I can't move the way I want to anymore. Oh well

good stuff on set ups too. Melee had way more set up than brawl which was interesting.

Brawl got ***** at both WGF and Pound

WGF brawl didn't have enough set ups =[ (I kinda wanted to play brawl) so they had to use the melee set ups for brawl which it was cool

Azn Lep - it was dumb idea to mention sky to do a melee commentary, but it was a smart idea to use champ "one grab on fox and 7 swords hits and the fox is done lol"

Not really. Brawl players never bring setups. Just look at Pound 4.

the fact that a good amount of socal melee players went to pound would suggest less set up also. You can't expect UCSD students to bring set up since they didn't have to (no venue fee).

Where as brawl had norcal and socal usual coming to it. I expected more set ups from them but wow

brawl had about 8 setups:
3 from me
2 from norcal
3 from socal

that's just really sad

Pat had to ask the UCSD staff to bring their own tvs to help make brawl finish

good thing we finish though. Fun tournament still and met a lot of people

The Falco in my pool: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF**** Falcooooo. Lol, you play the matchup really well, and it's just so hard to get in... Our set was wayyyy too close, I was scared there at the end.

The Falcon in my pool (The White dude): Gawddd I wish I knew how to play against Falcon, our amtch was also really close, good job on the win.

Bok(?): Rep that green Falcon, lol. Learn the matchup doooooood =) set was fun.
