haha, yea no spectator fee. BUT we do need TVS and cubes/wiis with smash of course. OH YEA, everyone has to bring/wear deoderant and take showers. 30-40 gamers in a room does not make the room smell pleasant after a couple of hours.

I won't be able to make this, I was lazy on Valentine's, now the girl is pissed, so I gotta take her out this weekend =/

Sorry, I'll try my best to make it to the next one. UCLA people should come to Cal Poly sometimes =]

4. Make sure to wear deodorant and TAKE A SHOWER the day of or night before the tournament. A room full of 30-40 Smashers (typically male) is not cool if we do not make it a point to be So Fresh and So Clean Clean.
Thanks for the heads up, Daniel.

Champ and I are coming! And Champ wants to help run things; he says we have a +20% tournament speed aura that applies to anyone we party with.

Hmmm, if you guys want food, there's westwood nearby (10-20 minute walk), You guys will probably be hungry, so that's one option. I'm not trying to make a sales pitch here, but if you guys don't want to walk. Bruincafe, which is like < 2 minutes away from where we're running the tournament, opens at 5pm on saturdays. Unfortunately, it's kind of a ***** to get a cash card and pay because bruincafe doesn't accept direct cash anymore. Fortunately, I have a bruincard with meal swipes (Yay!). I am willing to swipe people in for a bruin cafe meal (they have sandwiches, bread bowl soups, and hot dogs) which includes one of the main entrees, a bag of chips or fruit, and a fountain drink. Of course, I don't exactly have unlimited swipes and would like some compensation. So i'm willing to do this for $5 per meal if anyone wants a bruin cafe meal during the tournament.

Or if you want to test out the actual dining hall food (buffet style dorm food) then I can swipe you guys in for that too. Basically you get unlimited food, drinks, salads etc... from the dining hall which is surprisingly decent too. This I will also do for the low price of $5

The menus for each of the following places on 2/24 is of the following

Covel Commons Dining Hall (Buffet style)
•Spaghetti with Turkey Meatballs
•Country Style Fried Chicken with Red Beans & Rice
•Frittata Di Spinaci & Cheese
•BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger
•Four Cheese Pizza
•Chicken Breast Sandwich
•Pepperoni Pizza
•Cheese Pizza
•Minestrone Soup
Salads
Drinks

Bruin Cafe (One meal per swipe, includes one entree, fruit or chips, fountain drink)

Bruin Sub
Ham & Swiss
Roasted Turkey
Grilled Vegetables
Tuna Salad Sandwich
Polish Sausage
Sweet Italian Sausage
Chicken Wonton Salad
Chicken Caesar Salad
Boston Clam Chowder Bowl
Beef Chili Bowl

There's the menu, keep in mind I'm not doing this to get a profit. I'm doing this for convenience if people don't want to walk all the way to westwood for food. Also I am losing money for every swipe i'm doing this, but I love smashers so yea =p. I'm probably also going to cap this to the first 10-15 people who want this service because i only have around 60-70 swipes left for 4ish weeks of meals

I was talking to alan yesterday regarding the TV/cube. So far i think we have

TVS
1.Audrey
2. Lounge TV
3. covered by someone (alan knows)
4. covered by someone (alan knows)
5.
6.

So for the TV situation, we need two more TVs
As for cubes, i'm not quite sure what's oging on with those

wow, can you swipe me in for a meal too :)

daniel's such a nice guy, the swipes cost like $9 (which is **** expensive) but when I lived in the dorms their food was ranked like 2nd in the nation or somethin ridiculous like that.

bring tv/cubes if you can.

PRINT out the little mini maps aesis drew for you guys. You'll get lost without it.

k M-crusty and I are going and teaming for this. Parking's still a *****, but I figure if I'm gonna let something like that stop me from smashing then I'm not dedicated enough =P

EDIT: For crews, will anyone be able to get together to form a crew and enter or are you expecting a deep socal vs pdale vs SSK?
