Sentinel is one character, cry indirectly more.
Please show how and where i "cried" over sentinel?? He said he didn't have a answer for phoenix when he could clearly beat phoenix by kicking her TWICE. Thats all thats needed to beat her. Instead he is choosing to let phoenix sit on the sideline until the meter is built. I also believes he has Taskmaster on his team. If that's correct he could also beat Phoenix quickly. All u have to do is snap her in and pressure her with taskmaster and sentinel's drone assist. You can kill her off chip with lv 1 xfactor and 2 supers plus drones.
Any legit Phoenix team is going to need a battery character. Sentinel/Hulk/Dormamnu are probably the best bets. More then likely there going to start with these character or with a rushdown character(Dante/Wesker/Zero) to build up meter and then switch to their battery character to stall while building up DP. Either Snap Phoenix in or use xfactor early and kill the battery character. Either one of these tactics completely destroy that gameplan. Even if u cant kill phoenix killing the battery character weakens their team as now they have to rely on their rushdown character who is low on health anyway.
DP is ****ing scary. You should be doing anything in your power to make sure she don't make it to that point. If that requires using your xfactor early then so be it.
On the other hand you can also time her out. If phoenix is the last character left. DON'T KILL HER. She's either going to use her healing super to try and get more health then u before the time runs out which means she cant turn into DP or she is going to stall and not realize your timing her out. I beat a couple Phoenix teams today by just not killing her cause granted snapping phoenix is is easier said then done.
Im working on a Phoenix team myself. Thor/Morrigan/Phoenix. She is a really fun character to play.
Sentinel is gay, but he's got gay **** to deal with as well. Being the best in the game doesn't entail you to **** at every aspect of the game (he's not MK, thank god).
This all is still less than a month after the game being out. Give it some time. Sure it may look gay now, but wait til people get more technical and find stronger, harder loops and resets. He'll probably get the shaft there harder than others.
I believe Sentinel is going to be taken down faster then any other character in this game soley because of the fact everyone is using him. People have already found out many instant overheads that **** sentinel for various characters. Still doesn't change the fact that he's gay and requires very little skill.
