Oh noes! Cactuar, those aren't your kinda threads bro, give it back. I know you love me, but you gotta find your own look.

I know i'm new to the ssbm scene, but can you guys amend a new "shower/smell decent when you come" rule to the tourney rules? final round has used it for quite a while w/ success

ninja edit:not saying that everyone smelled, but some random b.o. would creep up around me, and i'd have a wft look on my face.

lol then M2K could never come *shot*

Anyways, I'd rather ditch low tiers for normal singles or doubles, and keep crews every single event. Low tiers didn't even fill up a 32 person bracket, while normal singles always did.

I think the issue would be fitting both events in the time bracket... Would it be doable? Another thing, we need people coming earlier... See, if we had crews as the main event every other bi-weekly, then the singles bracket still wouldn't fill up as much on that day only cause not as many people show up so early. But I suppose it would be worth it.

Regardless of the first event, I did enjoy crews and would def like to keep that up the way it was going. I guess any adjustments that people see fit would be cool too, though I don't think there were any complaints.

Yea, no offense to anyone *cough*Alex*cough*, but low tiers are boring to me. Crews were mad fun though. I don't mind having crews for every event, but I'm not sure if a lot of crews are willing to come every two weeks as some members are not able to make it. If you span out the length of time for every crew tournament, it gives crews more time to plan out and make it to a certain event.

How much time in between do you think is sufficient Sensai? As of now it is already every four weeks (every other bi-weekly), so once a month basically. You think we need more time than that?

Oh, I didn't see that you were responding to Inui... I say every other bi-weekly is fine for now. Sensai made a good point about every two weeks being a problem.

My main thing about it is people screwing around, when they could be helping to keep things running. People just love to sit on thier *sses and play friendlies.

Even if you're not doing that and you see friendlies being played on a tourney t.v you should tell a member of TSA, so it can be straightened out. Things would run so much faster if everyone just helped out a little in keeping things running.

or just stand up and kick them off urself.

though some of the better and more recognized players have developed a cold attitude and unresponsive demeanor about being kicked off of a tourney TVs that they just so happen to be playing a friendly on.

I did practice my Roy and Y-Link every other day but when it came to the day before the tourny, my motivation to go dropped completly. Interesting ideas but I never cared much for low tiers and I'm not in a crew.

even if that is the case that shouldn't have stopped you coming, and you could have asked to join a crew. Wrath still needs one more member, and THP would welcome you

and dude i went there wanting to do both events and i didn't enter anything i just sat at the big t.v. playing friendlies the whole day :psycho:

Were the crew battles actually recorded?

Also, next time we go, STFU INUI WE'RE NOT EATING LUNCH AT 11! EAT BREAKFAST AND THEN EAT BETWEEN LT & CREWS OR SINGLES & DOUBLES!

Not eating for 12 hours is not fun.

April 14th -
We're going to go back to Singles and Doubles for this time's biweekly. One of the biggest changes we're making now is we're giving 40% of the pot to Emblem Lord's mother. We're also going to start having BBQ's just outside the building - this can help make some room inside the apartment as well as have smoe food handy instead of driving off and getting lost.

Emblem Lord is in charge this time. Let's show him your support!

There is a lot of if's involved with the following proposal, but would anyone from TSA or elsewhere object to a special biweekly sometime in the future held in Philly?

Cactuar and I would run it.

Now we don't have any kind of reliable venue right now. So this is just wishful thinking, but I think it would be kind of nice to have it here for a week. It would give Mrs. Lord and the TSA guys running the tournies a break.

If I can get permission we can hold it at my house.
We could see if Drexel can give us a room or something.
We can definately get some new blood in the tournament. Smash has been growing in Drexel and Penn in the past year.

Any and all feedback on this is greatly appreciated.

I was thinking of doing something really special for this tourney. Something to cater towards rookie smashers. They do this in counter strike alot. Only they are called restricted tournies.

Basically no one on a power ranking list is allowed to compete in an event at the bi-weeklie.

What do you all think?

I know some people who would be interested who would not come otherwise. But seeing as I am ranked in PA, I probably wouldn't go and thus not take any of these carless smashers.

I hate you even more EL :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Honestly speaking though, I don't like this idea.

@Pacman - I'd object if it's further than an hour from me.

Rofl. Well, I'll let the idea hang in the air, but I figured the ranked smashers would dislike it.

Edit: WTF@ double posts. WoZ merge this for me plz.
