wow, y do u always have problems right before goin to a tourney?

Hey i didn't do anything this time around... my car was parked right outside my house, minding it's business, then i heard a slam and it sounded like when the plow truck driver drops his plow on the ground and starts picking up the snow and everything, i looked out my window to see what happened, and my car was no where in sight... and the guy tried to take off, luckily my sister had went outside and stopped em, and i called police and got the info for his insurance to either repair my car or they will have to pay the remaining portion of the loan on my car and get me a new car... i really hope they just get to repair my car, its my favorite car and i not like the searching for a new car again phase, its bothersome

But to answer ur question, idk, i guess i shouldn't even say that I am gonna go to a tourney, just show up and maybe i won't have problems or nothing like that lol

WTF is going on in Neptune? I heard on the news that some kids in that town were killed in a crash when they were drag racing.

Yea, it happened like two nights ago followed by a vigil the next night. I actually graduated with one of the kids that passed away. Sad thing is that both brothers died in that crash, must be really hard on their parents.

It finally turned from ice to rain here and the roads are clearing up hopefully edison thats 1 hour north has that happen before tomorrow morning so this shindig can go down.

Well I'm still surrounded by nothing but ice, which is solid enough to walk ontop of even where there's grass underneath. The roads here aren't clear yet and it isn't supposed to be above freezing till 2pm or something. **** that, I don't feel like driving anywhere unless it clears up real quick =P

Actually, I agree with Magus.

Even though there's no longer anything coming down, the roads aren't clear at all, and I don't feel like driving over the snow right now.

I don't know if that warrants an overall cancellation, but I probably won't be able to come anymore, especially since if it becomes clearer, I'll need to use that time to go to my job. I'll call the other members to see how they're doing.

All right, so it's officially canceled.

Even if we were to push it off, the weather says there's some more snow that's suppose to come down later tonight, and I don't want to risk anyone getting into an accident.

For now, we're pushing Crews and Low Tiers to the next event in 2 weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience, folks. Hopefully, spring will give us some better weather.

Says the guy who actually lives directly on a major highway. The guy who plows my area went through 8-10 times earlier then just gave up eventually since it was still covered with ice at the bottom and couldn't get it up off the road, lol.

I live in a pretty wooded area with lots of tree cover. I don't see the roads outside my neighborhood to get to 95 being clear anytime soon.

Sure, if you want to head to Edison by yourselves, feel free to go. Of course, Muz, Copycat, and I won't be there because of the roads in our area, so I don't know how you plan on having any of the events once you get there.

Yeah, Public NmE and I were just talking about this. In our towns the roads are all iced up. We only live about 15 minutes from one another so he is coming over later to play. I don't know if CopyCat and Sneak want to come over later if things clear up a little. Muz and Mud live a little far so I doubt they would want to take that risk. WoZ you said yoou have something to do later right?

I was thinking it would be great to get crews on video, and up onto the internet. We have plenty of time now that the date has been pushed back. Is there any way to work that out?

I was thinking either a VCR or laptop to film the smash part directly, and than if someone could bring a camcorder and record the crowd that would be really cool. Like in between matches we could show crews deciding who to put in next. And we could maybe edit it so that you could see the crowd's reaction while the matches were going on.

With some high tech editing, we could have a pretty sick crew battle video.

that sounds like a lot of work, but it would be worth it. I plan on coming in 2 weeks to whatever smash festivities await. I have a recording setup but I can't do the crowd.
