I was thinking it would be great to get crews on video, and up onto the internet. We have plenty of time now that the date has been pushed back. Is there any way to work that out?

I was thinking either a VCR or laptop to film the smash part directly, and than if someone could bring a camcorder and record the crowd that would be really cool. Like in between matches we could show crews deciding who to put in next. And we could maybe edit it so that you could see the crowd's reaction while the matches were going on.

With some high tech editing, we could have a pretty sick crew battle video.

i might be able to take care of a digital camera w/ firewire input. for crowd reactions etc.

yo eggm, would u be able to bring ur laptop to capture the crew battles??

not to mention im quite profiecnt at editing software

Wouldn't a digital camera have limited recording space? It would be better if we just had someone recording the crowd for all of crews finals or something, and than just edit it later.

I don't know yet. I suppose it could be allowed, but I've spoken to M2K about it. He really doesn't care about the crew itself, but rather just wants to play in it, as I've stated before. I don't doubt that'll quit the crew right afterwards.

I've considered following the rules that you made up, and we'll have something for you by this next weekend, when we have the TSA meeting.

alright, ive got a perfect JFox story for this.

the whole situation reminds me of a joke i heard back in elementry school, it went something like "yo' mama is soo ugly she entered an ugly contest and they said Sorry, no professionals". we as the smash community are like the jealous ugly people only wishing deep in our hearts to be as top tier ugly as the professional, which in this case is mew2king. in conclusion, whether or not mew2king is banned from crews, the whole freaking situation is still ugly that we have to stop one of our own from playing because he is too fuxing good at this game. the alternative to this of course is to have him easily dominate who he competes against.

Sadly enough, in those times the mothers would stand behind their children and beat their child with slabs of meat if they lost. Sad sad times.

But, I believe this whole M2K thing has been spoken about enough. We've all said what's had to be said. I say we just leave it aside till the day of the tourney when we find out the final verdict. THE PLAN: videos of crew battles

1. Eggm is bringing his laptop to record matches directly from the gamecube video signal.

2. the video camera im bringing is going to be for crowd reaction / environment.

after the biweekly, editing will be done to this footage splicing both of these together to make a very fine looking professional product . one that NJ can be prowd of.

***imagine a reik 117% death combo with the next shot being a crowd reaction*** then back to the match

i invite help in this undertaking, but it is not necessary. i have the programs and the know how to do it myself.

as for taping other matches.. well see
