Shoutouts
1: Axe ($63.00)- Great stuff man. It was nice to take you to game 5 both matches but you seriously need to stop sandbagging me
Come on, you beat silentspectre without there even being a game 5! and i got to it TWICE!!! I love you though, man. You really should make a trip out here sometime to play, maybe on your way to visit SV.
1: Taj ($63.00)- Kinda sad that you beat jeff because I really wanted to play you
you really are still an amazing player, tony. I really want some training with you next time i visit phoenix. and you'll have to send me that video about reaction that you were talking about so i can learn to defeat it!!!
3: GamerGuitarist7 ($14.00)- I feel like I played really well at this tournament. I only lost tournament matches to Axe and ***** EVERYONE ELSE!!! Thanks for the support though, guys. <3
4: Super Serious Kyle- Great job man, glad to see us both placing high while being high. Chronic is definitely better than mersh for smash bros hahaha. But seriously, good ****. I still think tai would have beat you if he went marth so you still need to work on that matchup for next time. You got ****ed up in our set though. That will be like, the 4th or 5th match on youtube of me three stocking you though haha.
5: Okami- Great job Rob. You were playing very very well at this tournament and I am very impressed with the progress you have made. I ****ed you up though, seriously. That double-combo was **** as ****, I can't wait to see it. Keep it up man, we'll definitely get some training in sometime. There's some additional shoutout-age at the bottom for you.
5: Tai- Great job again as always Tai. Unfortunately, you still haven't bested me since AZ Anger but maybe one day you'll take a set off in winner's bracket and then i'll just **** you in losers. hahaha. Seriously though, you should have went marth against kyle. Or, your fox needs to get as good as mine. hehe (my fox sucks)
7: Tag- Good job in teams. Good to play you in pools. The puff is good but I think you'd have a better fox if you focused on him. Keep it up and come visit us again sometime... Peach is tight.
7: Rubyiris- You didn't do too bad, lost to two people who were better than you but otherwise seemed to have played fairly well. I didn't watch any of your sets except the falco ditto on FLATZOOOOOOOONE but keep practicing man and maybe you'll do a little better next time.
9: Whiplash/Yuma- Not too bad of a placing for your first tournament since summer of 2007. Keep practicing man. I really hope that playing with me and seeing how the melee scene is inspires you guys to keep practicing. I hope to see some improvement in all of you next time we play.
9: Duff0- Get ***** by Rob, scrub. Maybe you should start smoking again and you won't be such a failure. Haha just kidding man. Pretty good job considering you don't play melee too much (i think) and we'll have to play next time. Thanks for making the trip with everyone.
9: Shiv- JESUS! Didn't watch any of your matches but you're a pleasure to have around as always. Good to see you, and we'll hang out sometime.
9: Girku- Thanks for making the trip down! You have a good falco and as long as you keep practicing I'm sure you'll see improvement next time you come down. You guys kind of surprised me in teams, I underestimated you a little bit since I didn't know who you were. Thanks for proving me wrong
13: Eef- I believe you're ^his brother. I didn't remember what your gamer tag was but if this isn't you, then whatever. Otherwise, same stuff as what I said to your bro. Keep it up!
13: Aberz- You're a cool mother****er. Had a good time chilling with you at my place. Thanks for coming. Otherwise, see the Whiplash/Yuma shoutout
13: M3ds- Good job placing decently. Just keep practicing and improvement will steadily show. Best of luck!
13: V3ctorman- As I've told you many times before, your Yoshi is very good and does cool **** but the fact that you have a character that you play MUCH better makes me sad that you're trying to invest all this work into some other ****ty character. Seriously, you hardly play falco anymore and it still *****. I suck at that matchup like balls though
Good to see you though, and seriously just make a combo video off of all my tournament footage lol. Rob has enough matches of me on his youtube account. Then you can put in the credits "ALL CLIPS WERE FROM TOURNAMENTS RAAAAAPE". I don't care too much about the clip quality, look at Axe Effect! Just give me the amazing VMan editing.
17: TommyDerMeister- I ****ing love you man. Thanks for smoking us all out, that was really cool of you. Hope you had a good time and it was great to see you again. Don't take me seriously when I'm being a **** to you. You're awesome.
17: Angel- This guy right here! I'm not sure if he will see this shoutout since I believe he does not go on smashboards much but maybe his brother will show him. You seriously blew me away man. You have the most incredible Yoshi (no offense Tim, play falco) and surprised the **** out of me. I've never been more impressed with someone at a smash tournament. I was extremely excited to play you and glad I got the opportunity to. You have taught me never to underestimate people who I've never played before. Your friendlies with me will generate great traffic, and will get your name out there. I'd like to think that I'm a reputable enough player that people will be like "OMFG LOOK HOW GOOD HE'S DOING AGAINST GG7! AND HE KEEPS KILLING HIMSELF AND KEEPING UP!" Yoshi's story really does seem to be one of your best stages ironically haha. Be careful with the edge stuff, and please keep on playing. I really hope to see more of you in the future as I think you could be one of AZ's best. We have Taj's mewtwo, Axe's Pikachu, and now your Yoshi (and of course GG7's Falcon since he should be low tier too). Seriously, keep it up man and best of luck with your smash career. (look at the length of this ****ing shoutout!)
17: Bom- Thanks for making the trip once again. Good chilling with you at my place and hope to see you guys again soon. See the Whiplash post
17: Tipper- I can tell you're improving man. Keep practicing with Rob and maybe next time you'll make it into the bracket and maybe win a round or two
21: Sunnyside- Not sure who this was, I'm sorry
21: Cooper- Keep playing, Ty! You might not have done as well as you could have at this tournament but if you keep practicing with Jade like you do, and get the occasional gg7/jet4 practice, then I'm sure you'll do better next time.
21: Frosty- Thanks for making the trip with everyone. You're also showing improvement. Keep practicing with Jeff and Tai and they'll help you out. Good to see you bro
21: Agent Iron- You could have easily done much better at this tournament. I've seen you do **** stuff and you should have placed between 7 to 9 imo. We'll play sometime for sure since you pretty much live the closest to me
25: Book- Not sure who this is, I'm sorry
25: Mark- Not sure who this is, I'm sorry
25: Jane- As long as you play more, I'm sure you'll start to place better. You have potential for sure. Just have to practice! But you have a social life and that's much better than playing this game 24/7 haha. We need to hang out and do non-smash sometime for sure. Good smoking with you as always DROOOOO
25: Paul- Not sure who this is, I'm sorry
StretchNutz- I'm assuming you're one of the SSB64 players. Good chilling with you guys and thanks for keeping watch in the back of the car! You guys are both tight and we should hang out again sometime. Jet4 is really good at 64 but unfortunately he wasn't able to make it today, but you should try to play him sometime.
And for my final shoutout!
The Arizona Smash Community- Thank you for being active and as strong as ever! I've been very impressed at the turnout of the last two tournaments. I want to thank everyone for providing the time and dedication to develop the community like it has. You all are great friends, and as long as we keep on having these tournaments and inspiring people to play more, Arizona will become a stronger and stronger state. We've recruited (and discovered) many new players over the past few months, and we will continue to do this. Thank you Rob for being a dedicated TO. This tournament was run better than the last one, but there is still room for improvement of course. Keep it up though. Everyone, please keep coming to these tournaments. You're the best.
