I always give credit where credit is due.

I have mixed feelings about her appearance in this game.

On one hand, I've never played the starfox adventure games and am not sure of how good they are. Also, I think her character design is somewhat uninspired.

But on the other ... SSB DOES need more estro-representatives. Secondly, she wields a staff, which up to this point hasn't been seen either, so she has a unique moveset potential.

Her appearance won't really excite me or disappoint me though...

1.) Star Fox Adventures was only one game.
2.) For the sake of conversation, could you give some reasons why you feel that Krystal's character design is uninspired?
3.) True
4.) Be careful using the word "excitement" in the Krystal Thread. Furry Lynchers will eat that up.

Update pretty soon. I'm actually pretty excited about this one, which I don't do very often because it normally leads to a letdown. Though Fridays Video makes me want to play smash whenever I watch it. Like Top Gun always makes me want to be a fighter pilot or like Oceans Eleven makes me want to rob a casino or like Krystal makes me want to.... uhhh post in the Krystal thread. Get your minds outta the furry gutter.

Also, semi-******** update. Though I see the silver lining in this waste. If Wario can have two separate costume, maybe Krystal will too. They've shown that it's possible to do, but the question is what gives the character the right to have two costumes. Since Wario's original brawl outfit was something strange I guess they felt that to please the fans they needed to put in the old outfit.
Would they feel that way for Krystal? Just off the top of my head all the variations (ie Dark Link, Fusion suit Samus) wore different suits or had the variations from previous games. Though they didn't do that for Fox (whom has a bunch of costumes from the most recent SF games. Maybe we'll get lucky and Krystal will get a piece of this.

well alt costumes in general would be more of a money making profit for nintendo anyways. more versions of every character.

I think Samus and Link are special for having "different" alts. Say that Sakurai goes with the Hybrid looking Krystal... then changes it slightly to match her Adventures look. It would be alone the lines of Samus and Link and not as extreme as Wario.

This isn't very far off from her Adventures look. It really wouldn't be considered a new costume since, essentially is just another color change.... with some minor changes.

On the building on the left side, there is a TV/monitor.
Find one of these buildings, and you'll see a foxgirl(red Krystal) on the news.

Hmm...really? I had no clue...not that it's a big deal...I just didn't know...

As for alts...perhaps her fur could change shades of blue while the gem in her headress changes color...kinda the same concept as the Sonic alts...

I never said anything about an alt costume...though my idea would only apply if Krystal wore her Assault outfit...either way, it's possible that Sakurai's lying through his teeth to hide something...I doubt it, but it is Sakurai...

What I'm sayin' is that if Krystal was wearing her Assault outfit, she could change the color of the outfit, not her fur...
