Anyway, I'm off to my first Melee tourney today :D

I just got back from my Melee tourney, I went Ganon all of my single tourney matches except for one (which was Falcon). Ganon and Falcon regularly in teams.

I lost ALL of my tourney matches... I'm bad at Melee, but learning slowly.

Exactly, if i can win the tourny down here in aus next week, that will make two ganons placing high. And people will be like wtf how is ganon winning.
Somehow i gotta beat this guy's fox when i have no fox v ganon experience, i'll just make it up as i go along. And plank if all else fails.

Seriously though, falcon has never won a tournament but ganon has, that should make him higher than falcon imo.

Falcon is just a lot higher because a lot of the pro's are suddenly playing him a little bit (like Ally) and then the SBR thinks "Well he must be better than Ganondorf!"

Unfortunately, Ganondorf gets no such treatment n__n We need some hype.

I'll be going to a tourney July 5th, hoping to win it. I'll be going Ganon and a little bit of Falco for the D3 match-up.

Do not be discouraged Kalm. The general rule is that everyone sucks at their first tourney. I was an exception, but my tourney was not as large as yours was, nor did it have Ally. Did you play him at all?
