That's true, I also forget a lot of his tools when I play him. And I can see that. QD WD is better for positioning than the neutral game.

Neutral game is like 80+% positioning lol
I know but QD WD places you somewhere. It lets you establish or reach the position or spacing that you want but it doesn't contribute to the baiting and reactionary part of the neutral game because all it's doing is letting you arrive in a certain place.

It's like 25+ frames of commitment when you can just dash and not commit at all. If you're on opposite sides of the stage it's probably the best option but in the vast majority of cases IMO a simple Dash Dance is optimal. When I'm taking the match seriously I try to make my playstyle as effective and efficient as possible. All too often is the most complicated solution to a problem also one of the least effective.

DACUS is faster than QD upsmash, and barely doesn't go as far. You can combo DACUS from throws on incorrect DI. There are far less cases where QD upsmash combos.

Buffer made it easier sure, but most people also have to change their inputs. Up + Grab used to work because there was no JC grab in Brawl, so it turned into Usmash. Most people didn't claw it, or change their button layout.

Edit: I was finally able to DACUS the old way with Up + Z, but man it feels janky

For some reason, I get errors everytime I try to edit the OP. Until I get this fixed (and crashboards), updating the list will be delayed for now.

I gotta say, while Mew2King plays a functional M2 I think he'll have to divert from his regular playstyle if he wants to really excel. His playstyle is consistent but doesn't incorporate much of Mewtwo's new tech, and he is really hesitant to capitalize on his hits, as he is Mew2King and totally down to camp til the heat death of the universe. I think Taj or maybe some random upstart have a better chance of championing Mewtwo just for their ability to really explore his game without being restrained by a compulsory habit of safe zoning. Mewtwo's ability to dive hard on opponents will rock and Mew2King will fall behind if he can't get comfortable going NUTS.

*still waiting to see Axe do D-Tilt > Turn around SH U-Air with the whole "D-Tilt can be cancelled with backwards movement now" thing, and seeing how happy he is about it.
I'm sure he will be...
It was a dreamed we shared many years ago...
Anther is cool.
M2K is cool too.
Pokemon are cool.
DACUS is cool.
DMG, you DACUS with Up + C-Stick Up I assume? I still use Z mostly. It's tough, but Snake gotta do what Snake gotta do...

I use Up + Z to DACUS. I thought it wasn't supposed to work anymore with grab??, and had wasted my time trying to remap/redo how I DACUS. I'm getting it back down in this game, just means slowing down inputs n stuff. I don't play many characters that it's useful on, so I tend to disregard it overall. I probably don't need to be doing DACUS with Marth

That reminds me: Ganon's Usmash hitboxes seem real dookie when it comes to people in front/close near him at the knee kaps. Part of the reason I don't DACUS with him is that you can slide right in someone's face with it and not even clip them, it makes me sad!

That describes it perfectly, and I want his loins to smite mortals and send them tumbling helplessly into the Abyssal Underworld of Satan's Wrath

Please take me off Zelda. I'm finished maining her. She is waaaaay too fraudulent imo, and is just an overall unviable character in the long run (despite what Zhime will tell you lol). I'm off to maining Samus.

I would put either Salem or Rizner as third, although I'm leaning toward Salem. What I saw from him at his last tournament was really impressive, and it looks like he's been practicing this game a bit. He seems like a solid 3rd at this point. Also, I would put Zhime as first now. He has shown quite some results and seems overall better than Ryoko at this point, but this is all from an observer standpoint, so I'm not entirely sure.

I have to agree with this, Mewtwo can do so much crazy stuff now that you can play extremely aggressive. KDJ said he's going to main Mewtwo and has been playing him this whole week. Man... I've never seen anyone use his float so much to do all the things Dan does. His M2 makes me salty as hell sometimes lol.

Sorry I haven't updated this thread in a while. I'll get to it soon, probably by tomorrow or Saturday. I've just been incredibly busy and smashboards saying no thanks to my edits every now and then isn't helping.
