I know I posted this here a few weeks ago, but didn't really get much feedback. D: Was wondering if you can critique my Combo Video :) Yeah I know Combo Vids dont prove any skill really, its for fun anyways xD I think its pretty decent myself. :) Anywayz enjoy

Ends poorly, but oh well. I ended up beating his wario in a set of grand finals, and he switched to MK to beat me : (
I'm so bad at the matchup.
I really wish the first set was recorded of GF... I was getting him with so many cool/flashy things.

I agree with Sasuke and TLM.

Anyway, I'll help him.

IcO you need to work on spacing and your spam game. Also, try incorporating some zairs.
Watch some of the better Toon Links to get an idea what you can do with the character. Overall it looks like you need experience. (Btw, this is based off the first Pit video.)

I agree with Quivo. Your projectile spam isn't doing you much, because of the way you use them. Keep your TL at mid range from your opponent and try to play keep away with your projectiles. Learn your Projectile Mixups/Combinations and find ways to use them in your game.

Also, don't spam our unsafe moves. I saw you using Dsmash a lot. Don't use that, since it has a lot of ending lag. Stick to your shorthop aerials. Hope this helps, and we must play again!

What those two said ^^^

For now I'd focus one 3 main things:
Spacing with Zair
Short Hop Nair (maybe some full hop ones as well)
Bomb work (not throwing them immediately after pulling them/jumping and throwing them at opponent on ground)

This is Jerm vs Ozz. My internet is being really slow, but just watch how the Falco plays this...
I mean, he definitely should be lazering more and approaching less, but just watch how smartly he plays the MU. I've never seen someone fight against Tink so perfectly.

All i can say is Jerm don't try and grab when at high percent since you will definatly get killed.

I didn't watch all of that video so didn't tell if you lost or won lol. I just saw you grab at a high percent but it doesn't matter since i'm sure you don't do that everytime.



lol.... At 1:05 it was basically impossible to recover but if you would of stayed in the middle where those green things pop up i think you would of survived then. This is in that video you currently have linked Jerm.

Just throw ****. As simple as that sounds, sonic has to go above TL and all of our aerials beat out sonic.

I didn't watch your matches yet but ya...I know that Shugo REFUSES to play against toon link with sonic.

Against a Sonic, you have to know that you must always stage strike Yoshi's Island, and that their favorite stages are Green Greens and Frigate. Keep that in mind.

Also, their Bair has a massively disjointed hitbox completely under Sonic, not even touching his body. With that being said, expect a lot of spinny attack things to Bair/Uair. Also, their Fair has irregular priority. Keep that in mind. With that being said, just throw stuff, and whenever you see a flying Dair, just Uair.


Oh, and what Alzi said. WHY DID YOU HELPLESSLY FALL AGAINST THE WALL?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?! :mad:

I usually invincibomb against sonics. Don't know why but i find it very usful. When they are doing the spin ball thing from a distance i grab a bomb run up to them close so that they know i won't be throwing the bomb and they try to hit me with the spinny thing then i invinvibomb.

I also try to avoid dairing because sonic is just to fast.

Around the 62% mark you should of been shielding more then spot dodging. Shielding would of helped you much better even if he did grab you, you were in the lead and a grab woudn't kill you.
