Certainly an effective Falco, you can't argue with that, but kind of extremely boring to watch. And I know all of the spacing and lasers and phantasms are to strip D3 of some of his strengths, but yeah.

Great job against that D3. I liked the use of phantasms to keep a good distance between you and him and then punishing with SHDLs. I even saw a Fair used in a good situation other than gimping. Keep up the good work.

That wolf video was absolutely awesome. =D great use of wall jump to recover.

More originality?

The 1st 2.
Phantasm
Lasers
Chain grab.

Thats pretty much all you did, Not sure about the D3 though, He should have predicted your phantasm's & punished you.

3rd match.
CG to spike, Though it was nice.

I'd just say, Nice vids but more use of his other moves will improve your Falco.

definitly a solid falco but a lack of variety in your game. not questioning the d3 skills but he doesn't seem to have much experience with phantasm. 3rd video just confirms what we all know: falco ***** wolf

Tbh Tommy, you gotta stop thinking your so amazing =/. Nice falco, but it's not great. Oh, and that noob was just that game you showed us to demonstrate what c stick set to tilts did.
No 'Finally' about it :S. Don't get me wrong, your falco isn't bad.

I used moves other than those against dedede. If you get too close to him, you get shield grabbed to hell. Next time Ill play against someone playing bottom tier to show style instead of what actually works.

Please play a good dedede aggressively like when its a flashy vid and you will get ***** by the shield grab and up tilt. style is not the same as what works.

Constructive criticism is welcome. "boring" isn't constructive. Show me where I got punished and why.

At 1:00, you should have either reverse boost grabbed, or walked the cg instead of the dash attack

EDIT: And that DDD did not seem very skilled.

you didn't get punished much because you kept using phantasm to escape but if the d3 were good or just had any experience with it you would have been punished a lot!

I seldom saw him use Bair.
At all even.
Well, there were one or two instances off stage, but that was it pretty much.
Also, the D3 could have used Dthrow to tech chase, but instead he used that Uthrow > Uair, even though that is less potential damage than a successful tech chase string.

Also, I saw no walking chaingrab, you only dash grabbed.
No reverse boost, no short step regrab.

*shrug*

If you ever walked into the Falco boards, you should know I have been trying to get my videos up for forever.

Oh well, you can just talk about bread for all I care. Post useful information or quit playing smash.

I looked up Sethlon vs Fogo and nothing came up. I'm just going to take a wild guess. He didn't shield grab ever, most likely never even puts his shield up and gets ***** by Falco's speed because of it. A Good dedede makes Falco camp. Period.

I'll take off the finally part. I didn't think so many people would be so effected by one little word.

Anyone who complains about boring or lack of variety is stupid. You play to win and do what works, and if that means a few select moves are optimal, then there's no reason to deviate from them.

If I was seibrik I'd punch you in the face falcos like that are so god **** annoying. I guess people are disappointed because everyone can spam a fat character, but ggs. If you play flashy and get up in a dedede's face it ends with you up B'ing 5 times and them bair-ing you under te stage.

You didn't really show any skill, and that D3 didn't look too good. Im not sayin that you are bad. I am saying you didn't showcase whatever you probably wanted to to everyone. And lol at the 1 minute vid.

Lol, TommyG there's nothing to really critique. You two stocked that D3 in the first match, and if you had guessed something was going to happen if you phatasmed into the middle of the stage from the ledge when Seibrink was just sitting there you would have two stocked him again. You owned, bottom line. For that reason there's nothing to truly give you worthwhile advice about. People send out videos of them destroying other peeps and then ask for a critique, but it'd be much easier to send out videos of you losing against a hard match up if you want some really constructive feedback.

So yeah, when people send videos we should really look for two things. One, at least a close fight, hopefully one of them losing or playing a difficult match up, or two one of pure entertainment value and just looking props. Your videos weren't really entertaining and you didn't have a problem beating this dude. The end.

Solid Falco. I feel like you wanted to finish the dash attacks with an upsmash to complete the Gatling Combo but just missed the timing.

The D3 upthrows excessively.

I wanted to view the Wolf massacre in high quality ;]

Lolz he interrupted your CG.

Nice, smart Falco. Don't worry too much about what others say just play however you feel like playing.

I think he tilt sticks, I remember how hard it was when I tried it for a day or two once.

don't get mistaken i play a pretty campy falco myself but your excessif campiness only worked only because of your opponent's inability to deal with/predict your phantasm and lazers. i wouldn't care if you called Seibrik the best player in the world i'm analizing this match simply by what i see. For an example of what i mean by dealing well with falco's campiness take a look at runawayfire's match against neo.

There's no reason for falco to camp in this match-up, at least not a good falco, and it was far from ****, trust me.

your falco is really solid.
i would suggest jabbing more to avoid DDD's shield game, but what u did worked better here...
put up some matches VS meta knight i can never beat great MK's
snake would work too since there is a ton both players can do to win the match and it shows who is the smarter player.

Hm, I saw on the D3 boards that Seibrik was breaking in a new controller, as to why no CG.

But he's Floridas best D3. He doesn't suck.

All of you are scrubs.

Seriously.

Tommy G.

Good **** and good Falco.

This is how Falco is meant to be played. He has a ****ing gun and a phantasm. WTF do you want him to do? Try to FIGHT Dedede head on? Why? So Dedede can decimate Falco's face with f-tilts and jabs and grabs?

Are you serious?

lrn2play

Once again, good **** to Tommy G.

EL> it's not very clear at who your post is directed seeing as people have criticized him for different reasons, so i'm not sure if i'm directly concerned or not but i'll reply anyway.

i for one stated that tommyG's falco was good, that falco should usually be campy, but that his abused campiness was after a while too predictable but didn't get punished because of the d3 inability to counter it (not saying that he's bad) which will falsly lead people to believe that this is what the matchup looks like at high level (even though both players are at high level).

thats the one thing i hate about playing falco its all about uber camping with da lazerz and phantoms, effective yes, but it doesnt feel as good as winning with more "creative" chars, dont get me wrong tommy is a great falco but im all feed up with the bread :ohwell:

your 3 move usage is pro. And captainbrawl has faced my DDD and tried laser spam, if anything it doesn't work as well as when I shield grab approaches. Camping with waddles>falcos laser.

errr what I'm saying is I have more trouble vs. the grab and air spammy ones over nooby laser campers, and my DDD doesn't suck :p
