Good news on the incest front

turns out Kamui is in fact, not related to anyone on the Hoshido side. So the entire choice about choosing between blood and your adopteded family? *sing-song voice* Pointless!!!

Semi plot spoilers maybe, idk, this is a warning
If Kamui isn't related to them, doesn't that strengthen the idea from earlier that the Hoshido side could be evil, since it's basically just lying to him/her about being blood family :L

Mikoto is actually still your mother. So it still kinda counts for blood side.
Mikoto is your mother. Your father, your True Father, is Hydra, apparently the Big Bad.

I'm not sure how to feel about this. I was kind of expecting it after they revealed all of the siblings on both sides were marry-able, but having it confirmed is rather disappointing in regards to the choice you make in Chapter 6. I'm guessing this doesn't get revealed until after you've chosen, so you as the player still think that you're choosing between your blood and adopted families, only to have the rug pulled out from under your feet later on.

Unless even they didn't know, or maybe only Mikoto knows. Who knows? I don't know. Does anybody know who's in the know?

technically he was their step-sibling before the kidnapping. And only the oldest of the Hoshido royal family knew apparently, the rest are 100% convinced Kamui is related to them

Well that makes me feel a bit better. So they're your half-siblings instead. Still a bit squicky, but it still makes your choice between Bloodlines and Loyalty a lot stronger and more impactful.

Almost. By what I've been finding, apparently all your siblings had a different mother, including your youngest siblings. Kamui/Corrin was born already when him/her and Mikoto were taken in by your step-father. So it's more between choosing the family who raised you and the family that you and your mother were brought into.

do we know who Azura's parents are? Since she had the whole opposite thing going on where she was supposed to be Nohr royalty, but can S-support the Nohr royal familiy

Nah(:troll:) I wouldn't go so far.

I wouldn't say the entire game. But it makes playing the Hoshido version pointless. For what reason should the Avatar ever choose Hoshido now? The whole blood vs loyality thing has been thrown out of the window and the theme has become inconsistent just because IS doesn't want to upset whiny people who treat incest as the end of the world.

Honestly, just do one game as Nohr or the 3rd path as the main game and you wouldn't be missing out on anything. And I was interested in the Hoshidos story as well(not as much as Nohr but still excited). A shame that they had to choose this kind of option.

Why would anyone choose Hoshido now? Kind of makes me mad for the Hoshido hype but oh well still have the other paths to enjoy.

Her father is apparently Garon, but I haven't found any major details yet on if he truly is or not. However, her mother's name is Shenmei, who is the(or a) wife of King Garon.

This is her.
