Meanwhile Serebiiforums hates the game's guts, going so far as to calling the story bad despite hardly any info about it being out.


It's rather surreal, actually.

Your mileage may vary. Serenes seems to be overall very happy. You can't go three posts in the release hype thread without tripping over someone gushing over the children. I don't really share the sentiment, but I'm happy that the people there are generally pleased minus a few malcontents.

My feelings towards the game have gone (in the past 24 hours, mind) from incredulous, to somewhat jaded, to borderline giddy regarding the gloriously polarizing effect some features are having, and all the way back to '...eh. It looks fun, I guess.' While I'm quite pleased that Nintendo has been so forthcoming about the same-sex supports, it's really just... the smallest bone to be thrown. It is absolutely a start, and everything good has to start somewhere, but the utter dearth of choice is very disappointing. I was really hoping A+ supports were going to give some variety in that regard, but it seems to have been confirmed that they are nearly completely pointless as there are no actual support conversations associated with them. Just some extra support perks in battle for the characters that you chose not to marry off (because those crazy stat bonuses were super necessary, right? ). But oh well. Game will be fun.

So yeah, count me in the Smashboards simply okay camp. :b

I'm still going to enjoy Fates despite knowing what happens ahead of time. Game still looks fun to play.

Hopefully something else down the road peaks my interest during the long wait.

It is hinted at that Not!Tharja, Not!Gaius, and Not!Cordelia may in fact be the reincarnations of the versions of them who died in the Future timeline. And that Kamui might be Future Grima!Robin's reincarnation

At least, that's what Not!Tharja's supports imply


Also, apparently Luna x Odin S-support has a direct callback to their Awakening supports

It's looking awesome. Some of the hardcore SMT fans would kill me for saying it, but this Persona gives off traditional SMT vibes in some parts.

You scrub, Persona ruined the series, well, 3 and 4 did, 1 and 2 were great despite their incredibly obvious dated mechanics.

It's looks more like an SMT game than ever before. I love Persona 4 so I'm beyond hyped about this game but I don't have a PS3 nor a PS4. And SMT purist is speaking very positive about it.

Aye, Persona 5 hands-down is the #1 JRPG I'm looking most forward to, and I'm having high hopes that it'll be the best released within these two years (vs. Xenoblade X, #FE, Bravely Second, etc) but that's just me being a fanboy. ;_;

Well, maybe Xbox one. I dunno about PC, but I got hopes after Tales of Zestiria was announced to get Steam release and a bunch of other JRPG's.

After thinking about it really hard, It turns out Young Link does have a shot. There was 4 pokemon characters then they added which makes 5. Then there was 4 Fire emblem characters then they added which makes 5, and he is a clone of Mars, so that makes 3 of the same move set. So when august comes (if it comes) there are 4 Zelda characters ..., If does get in, then that will make 5. I can see why you think can make a comeback. they just have to do what they did with . So you win. For now.
