what about ike's aether? do you have to counter at a specific time to hit him? also, counter becomes marth's best move when you have DK or Bowser (or even the links and space animals) off the edge when they have used their second jump. I really wouldn't use it otherwise though

I don't think you can counter ganon's utilt. Though if you could i don't know why you would anyway lol. Takes to long you can jsut go behind and line up a perfect tipped fsmash lol.

but it's fun to counter the lava on norfair I must say lol. Especially when it comes from the side and engulfs the stage lol you can stay inside the lava fall until it ends by using counter

Alright, I use the counter as much as possible, because I love it. The counter is my mother and father, my cat, and also my sixth-grade history teacher.
I even use it in real life. Someone tries to punch me, I pull out my sword and block it. Someone calls me a shut-in loser? I just block it with my sword, then shout something in Japanese and hit them.
